  1. Honda has confirmed pricing details for the all-new Civic. Starting from £29,595 OTR or from £349* per month through Honda Finance, the 11th generation Civic is available exclusively as a hybrid; equipped as standard with Honda’s advanced self-charging two-motor e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain technology. The car’s launch marks the completion of the brand’s Electric Vision strategy for all its mainstream passenger cars in Europe to be electrified by the end of 2022. The range starts with the Elegance grade, which features 17-inch alloy wheels, fabric seats, front and rear parking sensors and rear camera, a seven-inch multi-info display binnacl…

Hi everybody. New on here and looking for a bit of advice. 2010 Civic Type S 2.2. Had air con problems for a while, various garages have regassed, changed a couple of valves, but recently it's never been anywhere near effective except in short bursts. I'm told it's not losing gas. Latest diagnosis I've been given is that it may be a problem in the 'air mix control motor circuit', meaning dashboard out for a start, then I fear probably more hit and miss remedies. Given the age and value of the car (135k miles) it may be time to say goodbye - a shame as it's the best car we've ever had and otherwise an awesome vehicle for us. Hoping somebody can say there's some…

Good Morning I was referred to The Honda Owners Club by Honda in Swindon. I own a 1995 Honda CRX (reg N753 EKP, engine no. D16Z6-4709549) which has failed its MOT due to high emission levels. I have been told I need a replacement catalytic converter and was given the name of Online Automotive. They have told me they can supply what I need but asked me 2 questions , neither of which I know the answer to as I am not technically minded. …does my car have a lamda sensor? …does it have onboard diagnostics? Can anyone help or offer any advice – I would be most grateful Thank you Dave 07867 663232

Hi I have a 2009 CRV ES1-CTDi and want to upgrade the Sat Nav Radio CD unit to one that has Blue Tooth hands free capability. Can anyone recommend a reliable source with reasonable prices.I have looked on e-bay but the only one I can see is nearly £600 and it doesn't give any dimensions so not sure it would fit the dash board. Any help appreciated. Tony

Hello everyone. I have just joined the Club a few minutes ago. I appreciate your help. The car we bought last summer is fitted with the auto-box and we haven't got the manual ..... Question concerning the auto-box oil change that I intend to carry-out myself. a) How many litres should I get? b) I read somewhere that you should change the plug with each gearbox oil change. Is this correct? If yes, where does one get one ? Thank you all for your answers.

Since buying my Jazz in Feb I have had issues with my front windows making a clicking/rattling noise. The first was the drivers side which I took back to my local honda dealer who repaired it (which was in March).A few weeks ago I noticed the passenger side had the same problem.Having taken it back again to be fixed I was told that Honda head office has stopped repairing/fixing windows. They won't do it because their excuse is "It is the characteristics of the car".What a load of bull...t.Strangely enough when I took the car in on the first occasion there was another guy there who had booked in with the same problem!!! My views of honda have now gone down considerably if th…

2 months ago, I bought an approved used car Honda Civic 2018 diesel as my first car. As it comes with 12 months hondacare guarantee and car assistance, I think I only need to take care the maintenance after a year. But I just received an email from the sales dealer that the service is due soon...?? Does it mean I need to drive the car to the dealer for checking? Or can I have service from nearby Honda dealer (as the dealer sold the car is in other town)? Thank you.

I have a 16 registration Honda Jazz (automatic) but have done only 28,000 miles in it. (I got it less than a year ago with 19,000 miles on the clock from the dealership it had been bought from and serviced by). It now has just 28,000 miles on the clock but today I found that it needed new brake pads and discs on both front and rear brakes and had to pay £691 for this. (Same dealership). I was informed by the dealership / service centre that the 'new' '16 plates Hondas had different brake components and maybe they wear out more quickly. I think that to have to pay loads of money every 3 years (at 10,000 miles a year) is unacceptable. Is this normal or am I just unlu…

The all-new Honda Civic has been engineered to ensure that its e:HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) powertrain, steering and suspension deliver the engaging levels of performance, dynamic response and feedback that have always been central to the Civic’s appeal. I posted this in the HR-V forum, so I hope it’s ok to post here as well - not sure if this is covered in another thread - forgive me if it has already been discussed. Has anyone else experienced the tyre deflation warning coming on even though there is nothing wrong with the tyre pressures? I have to initialise the system each and every journey. It has got worse, too over the months and I doubted myself so I got the tyres checked - but they are fine. Is it possible to replace the sensor (wherever it is) or even disable the function altogether as it is not particularly useful even when working properly. I drive an HR-V EX CVT ‘67 plate …

Is anyone else seeing a problem with the clock on their Honda? it seems like there is an issue on cars where the clock is linked to the Satnav across a broad range of models/years. My 2007 Accord certainly has the problem. There is more information here. https://jalopnik.com/honda-clocks-are-stuck-20-years-in-the-past-and-this-mi-1848306970

Hi I was lucky to buy a used Honda CRV 05 plate about 4 years ago for £1800 with 120k on the clock. I have a good mechanic who has got me through my MOT's and it's been a great car but sadly this last MOT has come up with bad rust under the car and various other serious issues and because of the rust such as brakes and steering on both sides is in danger of collapse, deeming it unworthy of fixing. I live rurally and do drive through a lot of bad surface water due to heavy rains/flooding years round but nothing crazy other than road driving. I'm wondering if the CRV is prone to a badly rusting undercarriage to this degree or have I just been unlucky at the…

My Honda CR-V Bluetooth has stopped working. I have tried all the usual settings and tried coming out and resetting, but it just goes to the off setting after I try logging in. Has anyone else had the same problem, or can offer any help. My Honda garage wants £114 just to check it.
