Hi all. I have a 2016 Honda CRV 1.6 dtec 9 speed automatic and I'm getting conflicting reports on how many litres of oil are required when changing the gearbox/transmission oil? Can anyone advise for certain please.

Hello, I was stuck outside of the UK since June 2020 and could not come back until now May 2021. The car was left in a garage all this time and was not driven/started for months. I tried jump-starting it using a NOCO BOOST and using another car but nothing happens. There is not even a sound, the lights don't come on. Would anybody have any ideas? Is this most likely just a zeroed out battery? Or am I doing something wrong? I am using the big bolt pin on the chassis as the ground terminal. I am really surprised that nothing happens. I would expect at least the starter motor to turn. The car is automatic, so I can't even release the …

Been trying to put this on my 2018 crv EX which I have just bought seems it doesnt want to know has anyone else been able to do it on this year model

I’m now looking at buying a 1.6 diesel crv. I was surprised that some ads stated £30 road tax, but when I checked another it was £125 tax. Is it the case that the 4WD CRVs have higher emissions and therefore higher road tax than the 2WD ones ? Is there much difference in the way they drive on the road ?

He said it has a gas leak and £75 to repair plus parts (if gasket needed). As the Honda Jazz Exec is 2018 he said poss Honda would underwrite the repair as not far out from guarantee. A/C is still working. Advice on what to do welcome. Wait for it to fail or get it done? Thanks.

Abs light came on and another i light had a friend put his diagnostic on it came up with 54-1 Fail-Safe relay failure

Engine management light has appeared with a severe loss of acceleration/power, even when pedal is on the floor, it is still struggling to get above 20mph or into any significant revs. Any one encountered a similar issue and what was the issue with it?

My air con is not working and wondered if anybody out there has a contact who could repair this problem for me? The fans are working but there is no cold air coming through the vents. Local garage attempted to repair but claim the unit is broken and will need to be replaced. I have checked with the local garage following a recent service and they quoted close to £500 to replace the unit, this is money I dont have currently following redundancy in 2020.

Hi all sorry to ask another question but we have a leak under the car every time we use the fan in the car on air con or not and there is a pool of liquid under the car when we have parked up. I have checked all the fluids that I can and taken the car to the garage but he cant see anything. I thought it might be a leaking air con but it also happens with just the blower on. Thank you again for any advice.

received letter from Honda saying my 2007 CRV 2.2 ICTDI to have airbags replaced they state they have written to me previously but i have never had any letter and only had the vehicle 8 months so booked appointment the AA are coming out to the work but not until 10th of Jan 2022 they must be busy, not sure which airbags or how long that will take. anyone had the same issue?

Hi all. Our late 2007 CRV has a failed aircon compressor and the OEM part seems very expensive. Can anyone recommend a make of 3rd party compressor as a decent alternative? Cheers, James

I left the lights on on my 2006 CRV petrol manual and flattened the battery. I took the battery out and recharged it. On reconnecting the battery the alarm went off almost continuously but didnt go off when I plipped the key fob and in fact nothing seemed to turn the alarm off, manual locking and unlocking doors, operating central locking manually or by key fob etc and the alarm carried on going for 20 mins or so. I could start and drive the car so the immobiliser wasnt acting. The alarm would then stop and restart every 10 mins or so untill I disconnected the battery. on reconnecting the alarm would go off at random times even whilst driving?? It has settled down a bit …

Can any one tell me where I can get hold of a antenna cover for a 2017 honda cr-v navi-i dtec 4by2 estate , I dont like the idea of haveing to purchase the whole antenna for over £300 and then getting it fitted

Hi Guys I have not long had my 2008 mK111 Honda CRV 1997cc Executive, its had a recent MOT passed with no probs , I am experiencing a wandering on the Steering thats all I can describe it as, Ive had two new Front Tyres fitted and the Wheel Balancing and all four wheels Alignment Tracking Done but still have this percular steering problem where the Steering wheel has to be constantly moved to keep the vehicle in a straight line. I have never had this sort of problem with other vehicles. Can one of you nice Members Please advise or suggest what the problem might be and I would be very grateful for any advice. Hi, for the last few weeks every time I break there is a squeeling/crunching noise when I brake. The brakes were done 7 months ago. I noticed today that I've been driving for the last few weeks with the a/c on so I turned it off and now the brakes are making very little noise. Is there any way that the a/c was causing it? I have a 2013 CR-V with am/fm cd audio and would like to add DAB. I have a genuine Honda CR-V audio Model 39100-T1G-G311-M1 which has FM/DAB but when I swapped it with the original unit the DAB does not work. Do I need an adaptor or some other additional part?

Hello there. The Auto Idle with a line through it and battery light has started to show on the dashboard in orange. When I turn off the Auto Idle the lights go away but I was wondering if this means I need a new battery? i went for a 20 mile motorway journey with everything off thinking it might boost the battery but no change. My CR-V is 7 years old so would the battery be due a change? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2016 CRV se plus, i was wondering if it had the option to automatically lock the door at 10 miles an hour as it doesn't do this at the moment. I have looked in the manual and can't find anything about this. Thanks in advance for your help

Hello all. I have a question that is causing me problems. My 2007 Honda crv 2.2cdti is not holding charge. I can take it on a long run during the day and the next morning it wont start. I then charge the battery for around 10 mins and all OK again. I have had the battery and alternator checked and they are both in great condition but something is draining the battery. Please can anyone suggest what it might be. Thank you.

The battery on my CV-R needs replacing, however several sites say that after a replacement you need to somehow reset some software in the car and this is pretty common on SS cars. Anyone know if you have to do it on CR-Vs and if so how you carry it out?

I need to change the now very old transmission fluid and need the best price as money is tight?
