CR-V 2007 to 2011

As previously mentioned, I bought a 2010 CR-V awd auto with 57,000 mileage several months ago. Happy with it except for excessive road noise. When I look down in the engine bay, past the engine I expected to see some sort of under body tray which would hopefully lessen the noise but I can see straight down to the road. So I wondered whether at some previous service a tray or cover(s?) had been left off by accident. Or does it fact not need one? If one is needed I would be very grateful for the correct part description. Many thanks for any advice you can give me. Brian Pfeiffer

Hi all, Looking for a bit of help. Has anyone fitted running boards ? I have a second hand set of genuine Honda parts and I have downloaded the fitting instructions which seems fairly straightforward. What I don’t have are the templates required to enable me to cut out access holes for the fitting brackets in the plastic underside panels. Can anyone help with this please, much appreciated Rob

Has anyone any experience importing a 2019 CRV Sports into the UK? I've had the car from New. It's so good I want to use it in the UK, did Honda sell the, 1.5 twin turbo variable drive in the UK?

I recently bought a 2016 CR-V and after about a month of owning the vehicle the Check Engine Light illuminated on the dash. I took it to a local garage who read the code and told me the problem was the Bank 1 Sensor 1 had low voltage. They said they took it and and gave it a quick clean and cleared the code which seemed to fix the problem for about a week or so. After the light came back on a week later I assumed I'd need to replace the sensor. I've had a look at the code on the sensor in the car and it reads 36531-RZ0-G02 - 281004566. Everywhere i look online is telling me this model number is incompatible with my vehicle and the correct part is actually 36531-RZ0-G01 …

Hello there. The Auto Idle with a line through it and battery light has started to show on the dashboard in orange. When I turn off the Auto Idle the lights go away but I was wondering if this means I need a new battery? i went for a 20 mile motorway journey with everything off thinking it might boost the battery but no change. My CR-V is 7 years old so would the battery be due a change? Thanks in advance.

Please can someone let me know what oil I should put in my car. I have heard that 5w30 is the right one but I dont know if that is semi synthetic or fully synthetic. Thanks in advance.

My Honda crv 2010 luggage cover will not retract,is there a fix for this ?

Hi Alan I have always used Rock 5w 30w fully synthetic oil in my CRV as its recommended by Honda, If you are unsure as my Honda is a Petrol and I believe your CRV is a Diesel it might be worth giving the Main Honda Dealer a quick call and ask if there is a difference, I really don't know, sorry Alan.

2009 crv when pulling away the car is shuddering from 1st to 2nd after that it's fine and it does not do it all the time any ideas or do I just live with it

Hello All, New to the forum but not to the 3rd gen CR-V - I owned an EX petrol auto until it was written off in 2019. I replaced it with a 2WD Volvo XC60, with the 2.0 version of the D5 diesel engine - the reason I went this route is because we were doing about 18k miles per year; it made sense to go with the Volvo as we were forced to replace the car anyway, and it ticked the fuel economy box better than a diesel CR-V. Hi everyone. Just acquired an 08 CRV ES which has the all in one Audio and sat nav screen. Unfortunately for present day usage its pretty pants as there is no Bluetooth and while the car does have some bluetooth again its not up to current standards. There is also no Aux jack point but it does have a handy PCMCIA slot (whoever used that?). Anyway I have been looking at some plug in thro the 12v socket type of unit that you tune to the radio and Ive no doubt that they would work but in reality I would like to fit whloe new head/unit that would bring the car up to modern day standards. Hi All, newbie here, I have a 13 plate CRV SR, all good for the last 18mts, last Friday fuse15 blew, replaced all good, till today. No turn or hazards, checking the fuse its good?, helpppppp, have tried to locate relay but not found. Call to garage says its an MICU issue???? , also today the message on dash said battery can't sustain stop start, but put that down to very little driving as Covid has locked us down. Have checked bulbs and led in mirrors they are all good and dry. Any help assistance would be welcomed Darryl

Just joined this owners club so hi everybody. The rear screen wash jet is just dribbling water with no force and no fan shape. When one of the front jets was the same I had to lift the jet out and blow it clear with an airline as poking it with a pin did not work. Hi I previously had a 2.2 I-DTEC Ex prior to buying my current car (Volvo XC60 D5) and am potentially looking at coming back to Honda in the guise of an 18 plate 1.6 I-DTEC EX. I have a couple of general questions if you folks would be kind enough to help: 1 - I haven't yet driven a 1.6 so how do they compare performance wise to the 2.2? 2 - Any particular issues that I need to look for in the car? 3 - It has the Garmin Sat Nav - are the maps user upgradeable or dealer only? 4 - Can I install Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Any other pointers would be most welcome. Thank you.

My 120,000 mile diesel crv on a 58 plate has developed a creeky clutch pedal when letting the pedal off/up. Honda want to change the whole pedal assembly, but i did hear there was a plastic bush assembly kit to basically re- seat the springs !! ?? Would appreciate any advise Regards Phil

I have a 2009 CRV that occasionally makes a rattling and clicking noise from the alternator area and the VSA warning light comes on. I think this subject was touched on a few years ago. Would anyone have any further thoughts on this? Any help much appreciated.

Can anybody recommend a source for a good service/repair/workshop manual for my South African 2014 CR-V 2.0 litre petrol A/T RHD FWD with R20A engine ? The Haynes/Clymer/Chilton manuals are written for the American models with 1,8 and 2,4 engines but I suspect your UK models are similar to our SA models.

Hi all I have a 2017 CRV and the tyre pressure monitor has come on and I have been told by my local dealer that it’s because I recently changed a rear tyre due to a non repairable puncture and the replacement tyre doesn’t match the other tyre and that they should only be changed in matching pairs although they are both the same make and the other one was a new pair three months ago, is this correct.

honda crv 2008 airbab light on

In September last year out of the blue multiple warning lights appeared on the dash of my Honda CRV 2.2 I-DTEC SR 2013. 43,000 miles. The car continued to drive normally. I arranged for my local dealer to collect the car and investigate as well as carrying out a full service. Diagnostics showed low fuel pressure. The fuel filter was changed and the faults erased. The car then ran normally until mid December when the same situation occurred with warning lights appearing at random in no particular order. I then arranged for the dealer to investigate the problem again. I was told they couldn't look at the car for 3 weeks! In the meantime I purchased and fitted a new battery …

Hi all I hope somebody can assist. Mr vehicle had a fire and went for a repair in a city 600km from my home. I have been ripped off and am now considering my options to diy the reassembly.
