Hi guys - I am new here.. any ideas where this plug goes - perhaps it's a redundant one but for the life of me I cannot see where to plug it in?! There are no spaces left behind the fuse box...?

Hi everyone, New to the forum but wanted to get some ideas: I have a 2012 CRV 2.2 Diesel manual with 60k miles. On a recent service (at a Honda dealer) they advised that it needs a new clutch. This seems a bit odd to me as the reason given was that the clutch bite was high. It does not have any symptom of the clutch failing such as power loss or difficulty engaging gears. The only thing which could indicate a problem is a very slight, intermittent judder changing between 1st and 2nd gear but this was not mentioned. The other issue is that the middle display (centre top of the dashboard) for range and MPG is blank. The display itself wor…

I recently bought a 2016 CR-V and after about a month of owning the vehicle the Check Engine Light illuminated on the dash. I took it to a local garage who read the code and told me the problem was the Bank 1 Sensor 1 had low voltage. They said they took it and and gave it a quick clean and cleared the code which seemed to fix the problem for about a week or so. After the light came back on a week later I assumed I'd need to replace the sensor. I've had a look at the code on the sensor in the car and it reads 36531-RZ0-G02 - 281004566. Everywhere i look online is telling me this model number is incompatible with my vehicle and the correct part is actually 36531-RZ0-G01 …

Can someone tell me where the fuse may be for the tow bar so i can check this first. The tow bar has been working up to this point so hoping its something simple. Thank Paul

Hi I have entered into a dispute with a windscreen fitting company after they have refitted the scuttle panel and rubber seals back around my windscreen and left gaps, it looks terrible and would mean water will be getting where its not supposed to! To help my case i could do with some pictures of what it should look like. So i need pictures at the bottom of the windscreen showing the rubber strip on the scuttle panel in contact with the glass and a picture of the rubber strip that runs at the top of the windscreen between the glass and the roof/pano glass. Any help you can offer would be much apreciated. Thanks

Hello I am hoping that someone may be able to help diagnose an issue with our crv 09. We have just had the clutch, fly wheel and bushes replaced. Since the work has been done the engine noise in the cab is a lot more noticeable. It's definitely got louder. Its not a fault noise just normal engine noise. It's almost as if some sound proofing is missing. The car is quite new to us and we aren't mechanically minded. Any ideas?

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am looking to purchase a CRV mk2.5 (2006 - 66k miles) or mk3 (2008 - 33k miles) - both 2.0 petrol and I am not sure which to go for. The 2006 is costing about 2,000 Sterling and the lower mileage 2008 is about 4,000 sterling. The 2006 has an up to date MOT but the MOT on the 2008 is about to expire. I am looking for a low mileage version as I plan to convert to LPG and the investment (about 1,000 sterling) only makes sense if I keep the car for 3+ years. Which one do you think I should go for? Many thanks

Hi, I have a 57 plate petrol CRV which is throwing up an error code related to the catalytic converter. My usual mechanic who I trust tells me the cat is knackered and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately he can only source a replacement from Honda at a cost of over £1k, so I'm looking for alternatives. Trouble is, I can find 3rd party replacement cats for every flavour of CRV under the sun, but not mine. The Honda parts catalogue tells me my cat is part number 18160-RZP-G01, but there is also a presumably earlier G00 and a presumably later G50. Can anyone advise me if these are all interchangeable part numbers? Will a cat fr…

Hi All, I have a 2007 CRV, and a 2010 Wiring Harness for tow connection - part number 08L91-sww-6 -12N Problem i have is the 12N (7Pin side) has been chopped off. Looking at the wiring, i think i have figured out all the wires, except one! Pics attached, but essentially i dont know where the red+Black wire goes. From the harness, it looks like it goes to the right side cluster (looking at the car from the back). The harness itself looks like it replaces the existing one in the car with the blue connectors going in between the exiting wiring. I have duplicate blue and grey which i believe is for the fog light, wi…

Hi, We own a 2009 Honda Crv EX 2.2 diesel car for a year now. A couple of months back we've noticed the car battery went dead twice on us so we decided to invest in a new one. To our surprise 2 weeks later the new one went dead too! So we swapped the old battery (thankfully didn't get rid of it!) and charged up the new one (also double checking nothing had been left on inside the car). After 3 days when opening the car door, I strangely saw the sat Nav fascia was stuck half open (like it had a power surge) and low and behold, battery dead again. All becoming a bit like groundhog day now, so decided to get it booked in with the mechanics for the following week. Meanw…

I'm looking at purchasing a CR-V 2.2 diesel but confused with the car tax. How come some cars tax costs are only £165 per year and others of the same model £205 per year? The cheaper car to tax is also better on economy, I can't see any info on the matter and seeing as though they are the exact same engine and same year I'm at a loss. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi All, newbie here, I have a 13 plate CRV SR, all good for the last 18mts, last Friday fuse15 blew, replaced all good, till today. No turn or hazards, checking the fuse its good?, helpppppp, have tried to locate relay but not found. Call to garage says its an MICU issue???? , also today the message on dash said battery can't sustain stop start, but put that down to very little driving as Covid has locked us down. Have checked bulbs and led in mirrors they are all good and dry. Any help assistance would be welcomed Darryl

I wondered if anyone has any advice about my problem. I have a 2011 CRV I dtec 2.2 diesel with 102000 on the clock. It had a full honda history up to 2 years ago but since then I have serviced the car myself using genuine Honda parts. The car wears the front tyres out in 10000 miles and also squeals badly when I go round a roundabout at any kind of speed. I am worried there maybe a differential problem front or rear. I wondered if the common rear differential issue would cause this?
