Hello all, Just got back from a failed MOT and I need to sort the Drivers side Mirror indicator. It was cracked and was an advisory for years but now it has packed in. Am I right in thinking its not a bulb but a sealed unit like my mk8 civic was? Local motor factors cant help but Honda want £100 for an indicator 😞 Cant seem to find any replacements anywhere. Any advice appreciated. I fear it may be a complete unit off eBay if I cant just get the "flashing" bit 🙂 Thanks.

my Speedo stopped working and wondered if people have ideas? I believe that the sensor PWR-013 may be at fault and wondered it’s position? Also is there a fuse that also associated to the speedo?

Hi folks I'm new to Honda but just got an FRV which I'm now loving, but I've got the 2 original keys which unlock and start the car manually, but neither of which unlock the car remotely ( which Is annoying for me cause I've got 4 kids so always got my hands full ) I just replaced both key batteries and one of the keys emits the little led light when pressed and one doesn't l, so I've been using the one with the working led for the investigation purposes. I've tried to do the key programming mode that I seen a member post about on here but that didn't work. I'm at the point where I don't know where else I should be looking, but I've booked fo…

My 2007 Honda FRV has a leak in the heater core making passenger footwell wet. Also strong smell of antifreeze coolant and windows steam up. Am looking to replace the heater matrix with a new one. Labour is approx 5 hours so used heater matrix with 90days warrenty is not ideal. New part has a year warrenty. Unfortunately Honda have the heater matrix on back order until May 2024 and none are in stock! Does anyone know the part details or if this part is shared with another Honda. Have found a company to manufacturer a new radiator but I need to send them a photo with details.

Hi all frv 08 2.2 cdti has been struggling to start the past couple of weeks today it gave engine warning light, plugged in OBD2 and it gave error code P1041 ive gave it a quick google but cant seem to find something definitive can anyone enlighten me as to what the exact problem is?

Hi I need to replace all 4 springs at some point as they are corroded. I don’t want the car lowered so looking for similar springs. Can’t find a part number anywhere and no idea what oem springs are suitable. Does anyone know?

Front window wipers have stopped working on 2010 FRV

Hi so last week someone did a hit and run on the front of my frv. It’s bang on the centre and bumper is smashed and bonnet lip bent. I managed to get the bonnet open but now it won’t fully close so effectively it’s just open and in the latch. I can open the bonnet from the outside without using the bonnet release from the interior. This also means that the alarm doesn’t fully set (or so I think), as in when car is locked the indicators don’t flash and red dash light doesn’t come on. however randomly the alarm is going off sometimes through the night, or sometimes could go whole day and it won’t go off at all. I have covered the bonnet with a blanket and tuc…

Hi there, Just wondering if anyone has replaced the front middle seatbelt. Mine is damaged. Just wondering if the seat has to be removed to do so. Or can it slide in front the front if the bottom seat is removed Many thanks Steve

Right so lads another random question/topic on the Honda FRV. Has anyone ever installed bull bars (push bars) to the front bumper of their FRV? Also will a bull bar from say an '06 CRV fit the FRV? I'm told both are based on the same frame so thinking they might fit?..

Hello I have a 2006 FRV with the 2.2 diesel engine. 125k miles. Today the car took several attempts to start. Before it fired it was just a fairly quiet whirring sound and no cranking or turning over. Then it fired ok. Is this an obvious problem/fix? I am really not a car person but does this mean starter motor is done for? All advice very gratefully received

Hi basically when I put me foot down there's a long delay until power kicks in. 2.2cdt1 frv. Could this be the egr valve maybe blocked.
