  11. I had a fun day in a Lotus Evora at Castle Combe Circuit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGEsYTHz6Ak We started with an 8.40 briefing then it was time to hit the track at 9am. After scoffing down a hearty breakfast and a strong coffee we then went for a trial run of the track with one of Castle Combe's safety guys, who was a racing driver in his younger years! The car used was an Abarth Punto with 4 of us inside, we did 2 laps at a steady pace but then this saftey guy (who was in his 60's) floored it. We were amazed how this guy could keep up with Lotus Exige and a Jaguar XK-R and how good the car handled. This guy really knew how to throw a car around and he looked so re…

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee si…

  13. Hi, I own a 2005 hinda frv. It has developed a persistent shake. So much so you can't see from the rear view. I've had the wheels checked for ballanced but the shake remains. From what I've read, inner cv joint could be the issue. I'm looking to replace both front drive shafts but I'm having a rough time try to track some down. I'm hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. Also I've had fault code run to check for possible miss fire which was all clear apart from my persistent kick sensor fault code .

Hi Members For my own interest sake I have just carried out an experiment on Petrol Fuel with my 2008 Honda Exec 1977cc Mk 3 Manual Gear change Vehicle after having a full service done with new Spark Plugs ,All new Filters and Engine Oil Changed. So to begin with I nearly emptied the Fuel Tank which was showing Low Fuel and then filled up half way up with a well known Supermarket Brand Unleaded Fuel ,It seemed to be okay, few little starting problems which I put down to the weather and a couple of hiccups from the Engine which had never happened before, Then after the Tank showed Low on Fuel I filled up half way again with Esso Unleaded Petrol of the same grade…

With all the bad news thats going around lately, let's all keep our chin up with a bit of music. Let's run a "Your song of the day" using YouTube videos Pop a new song up daily and keep it going! my choice today is The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, seems to be chilling me out but giving just enough drive to power me through the day 🙂

Being a big dog person.... I wouldn't dream of giving my dogs food, treats or toys from China, Thailand, Vietnam and the like. The word 'China' and 'dog' conjures up images of dogs being beaten to death, throats cut, put in hot oil and cooked alive and eaten – images I would rather not have seen. In the US there are dogs that died of kidney disease after eating treats from China Perhaps the majority of people don't realize or maybe aren't concerned about the origin of the products. I’m told also of pet food manufacturers buying from China and adverting they are from the UK. Some get away with it by saying – they are packed in the UK, they just mis…

So apparently the Government are apparently introducing a General Overall Speed Limit in built up areas of 20 mph. Some one asked on the Honest John Forum if the Cruise Control limit on vehicles will adjust down to 20 mph and the answer was apparently it can only be adjusted to a minimum of 21 mph and that should be okay, but if the Control Limiter is not correct ,try telling that to the Judge for exceeding the 20mph speed limit, I agree this limit should reduce accidents in particular outside Schools etc but there seems to be a question that needs to be answered on this Cruise control issue, Not that I personally would intend to use Cruise Control for this low speed. …
