Just heard on the news they are doing away with handbrakes on new cars and just relying on the electronic brake system, That should be good fun on Hill Starts. !!!!!

Seen that Car Insurance Companies are blaming the increased high cost of Car Insurance this year on Electric Cars , I am not a fan of Electric Cars but this comment by Insurance Companies seems to me to be a fob off by them to unjustifiably penalise all Motorists to increase the insurance costs What do other Members think ???

So apparently the Government are apparently introducing a General Overall Speed Limit in built up areas of 20 mph. Some one asked on the Honest John Forum if the Cruise Control limit on vehicles will adjust down to 20 mph and the answer was apparently it can only be adjusted to a minimum of 21 mph and that should be okay, but if the Control Limiter is not correct ,try telling that to the Judge for exceeding the 20mph speed limit, I agree this limit should reduce accidents in particular outside Schools etc but there seems to be a question that needs to be answered on this Cruise control issue, Not that I personally would intend to use Cruise Control for this low speed. …

Hi All Whilst I agree about the 20 mph speed limit being imposed outside Schools or any other places where young persons might be vulnerable to traffic injury, I am not sure I agree with this being made law on other roads. Any comments from our worthy Members on this. ??? Pedal to the Metal Boy Racers excluded 😇 Best wishes BAZZER RN 1

Does anyone have any comments about these animals, As a responsible Parent and hopefully a responsible Person, I have my own personal views on this. I have had Dogs my latest Two Beautiful Border Collies who sadly died last year but I always made sure they were well trained and safe on a lead when out walking them .

Hi Members For my own interest sake I have just carried out an experiment on Petrol Fuel with my 2008 Honda Exec 1977cc Mk 3 Manual Gear change Vehicle after having a full service done with new Spark Plugs ,All new Filters and Engine Oil Changed. So to begin with I nearly emptied the Fuel Tank which was showing Low Fuel and then filled up half way up with a well known Supermarket Brand Unleaded Fuel ,It seemed to be okay, few little starting problems which I put down to the weather and a couple of hiccups from the Engine which had never happened before, Then after the Tank showed Low on Fuel I filled up half way again with Esso Unleaded Petrol of the same grade…
