A couple of queries about auto Jazz 2009. Are there any issues with these auto boxes, CVT I understand? The width given in the Honda info seems wide a bit wide at just over 2.0m does that include the mirrors? Is the 82hp auto model seriously underpowered or just a little low on zip? What to look out for in a second hand purchase?

Hi I am a newbie to the forum my I’d is Hicabod36 I have a problem with the shark fin antenna it got damaged when reversing out of my garage. The up and over door got blown down by a strong gust of wind and caught the antenna as I was reversing out. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement antenna one that works with all frequencies including DAB radio. I see them advertised on the web quite cheep but I am unsure of the quality. please any advice would be appreciated I am going around with a plastic bag taped over the remains to keep the weather out any advice would be most appreciated

Honda Jazz EX CVT 2012. Display shows 26.9 mpg whereas if i remember correctly, the car should be doing 40mpg officially and unofficially, 35mpg around town. Only had the car for about a month. Car has done 36k with full Honda service history. Car was serviced in March this year but i checked the air filter anyway and its looks like new. Also checked tyre pressures and coolant & oil level and mass air flow sensor. It has been bitterly cold but will be surprised if mpg falls this low due to this. I can't think of anything else except the brakes binding. I even put a half tank Shell V power but no real difference. Car is mainly used for local driving. Any suggestions pl…

(NB there is a disused black box on top of the battery. The battery issue has been happening before the black box was installed.) Thank you for your help.

Hello, My 2010 Honda Jazz is not starting and I can see all warning lights are on suddenly. I didn't have any issue prior to this, so not quite sure what went wrong. When I turn the key, I can see the gear indicator changed from N to something like 8 and I think that might be the issue. Video Here Anyone has seen this issue and can advise me on it pls? Thanks

Recently bought a 2018 Jazz Ex. I have paired my Android phone successfully but when I tried to load Android Auto I hit a brick wall (figuratively speaking that is). I asked my dealer about this and they said it is not possible and only the new 2020 model is compatible with Android Auto. Does anyone know any different? I saw reviews on YouTube which led me to think that it would work.

Am third owner of 2008/9 Japanese built Honda Jazz EX iShift. Its original radio/music centre consul has been replaced by a fully integrated Honda SatNav/Music system and bluetooth HFT link. The generic owners manual that came with the car doesn’t cover the functions for this touch screen system which has a Garmin navigation programme on a 40GB HDD. Have managed to find some limited data for the Music Catcher and navigation functions, but have nothing for the HFT link set up procedure. Honda appear to have no data for this, now obsolete, system. Hi We have a 59 reg 2009/2010 Honda Jazz. Literally never gone wrong. I’ve replaced the tyres and the battery 2 years ago. Today it died. It doesn’t appear to be the battery as we tried to jump start it. I’m calling the AA out tomorrow but they may charge £99 to come out. Only strange thing that’s happened is both our keys have been playing up, I thought mine was running out of battery or something. But I didn’t know my partners was also doing the same. Any suggestions before calling AA out as money is a bit tight at the moment? Thanks in advance G

I have a 2014 (64 plate) Jazz 1.4 ES+ I-Vtec CVT GG6 according to the V5 and have not been able to verify if it is CanBus fitted or not. WWW sites give conflicting information! I would like to fit reversing sensors ( I know its only a small car!)

I have a 2009 honda jazz, wondering if anyone knows what the yellow oil can with wavy line underneath means? Replaced the oil pressure sensor but light still comes on now and then especially cold start but turn the car off when it's heated up it doesn't come back on? Any other ideas to fix this other than being the oil pump?

Is there any way on the 2021 Jazz to disable the auto unfolding of the side mirrors when entering the car? I park my current car in my garage and have to fold the manual side mirrors in because of the restricted space and manually unfold when leaving the garage. On the Jazz, I believe I can fold them in electrically prior to entering the garage but what I don't want is them auto unfolding until I am out of the garage when starting the next day.

Hi, my wife has had her Jazz hybrid for a month and still getting used to it. She noticed that there is an amber "i" on the digital dash and on scrolling through the various menus has found that there is and amber "SOS" on the dash. We haven't noticed this before. Is this normal? the SOS button in the roof is illuminated in red, we don't know if this is the normal state either! One further question, the car is used mainly for short journeys to the shops, is it better to have the gear selector in "B" or "D"? thanks

The only place I can find a space saver spare wheel that will definitely fit a 2021 Jazz is Kwik Fit and it's over £200 which is a bit steep. Anybody any ideas on better value?

Recently had strange fishy smell when using the air con on my 2015 Jazz CVT. The Honda service desk at my dealership says it needs regassing but the air con works fine so this can’t be necessary. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Hi Guys (and Ladies) I’ve got a 65 plate Jazz EX and yesterday the audio touch screen wouldn’t get past the Honda logo on the boot screen. The weather lately has been really wet but I’ve not had any warning lights come up. As the original battery is 5 years old now I popped into my local dealer to see if I needed a new battery but they wanted to charge me £150 for a diagnostic check which I feel is exorbitant. A new battery will also cost £125. today, it seems to have booted up normally but the channels on my DAB radio are not listed and initially the clock was the wrong time. so my question is.... …

The last few times I have turned the engine on, the only thing that has appeared on the audio display panel when I press the On button is the words "ENTER CODE" on the left. None of the controls will work. I cannot find any reference to this in the manual and it has never asked me for a code before. Can anyone explain what I have to do?

I have an auto Jazz 2018 Exec. When I corner there's a slight grating or roughish noise somewhere in the front wheel area. It's not something caught I think mechanical. it does not last long and seems particular to how far the steering wheel is turned (say30 deg) and speed. difficult to describe really. Has anyone encountered the following on the new hybrid? 1) If the car isn't driven at least every other day the clock is slow by a specific number of minutes and doesn't correct itself until the car has been driven for at least 30 minutes. 2) The radio on/off button intermittently does not work. Not sure if this is a good place to put this. I have been leasing several Jazz over the last decade with Motability. I got a Jazz HEV+ last year. This my first automatic and first hybrid. The onboard driver assist is annoying as f***. It keeps trying to stop me from overtaking parked cars on empty roads. I can turn it off, but it turns back on as soon as I restart the car. I had to top up the tyres. The deflation warning system message said I needed to initialise it. I looked in the owners guide. I could not find anything about it. I found for her this car Honda Jazz 1.4 i-VTEC ES i Shift Euro 4 5 door 2010, first owner, millage 58000, all services in Jonda, last healt check has been done there in march and it was perfect. Pleased with my 2019 Jazz, very roomy and easy to drive. Looked in the boot and it has a compressor and sealant, no spare, no jack or wrench. Not a problem, but I would rather have a spare so I went out and got a used Jazz space saver, jack & wrench It fits in the wheel well easily but even though it's a slim 135 stands proud of the floor a bit......I can live with that. Honda seem to have deleted the tapped hole so no point in buying the clamp to hold it down. One thing that surpised me was this spare is claimed to be suitable for Jazz cars with 15" & !6" wheels, mine are 15" and the overall tyre diameter of this spare is smaller than my other tyres. Th…
