Hi, l have just joined this club, because of my very recent purchase of an HR-V 1.6 automatic 2002. 3 door. I live in Stoke On Trent, am in my late 60s,s and am disabled, but still able to drive, which I still enjoy. If I say so myself I was a good amateur mechanic, but alas the mind is still willing, but the body is no longer able to juggle the spanners, and to be truthful I do miss it. I have never owned a Honda before, but can say I am amazed at how well this car drives, being smooth, and very responsive for a 22-year-old. So hello all, I will be asking some questions, but I also very much hope I may be able to help others if they get stuck.

Proud owner of a 2005 CR-V and I love - as does my wunnerful wife 🙂 On my 3rd day of ownership a cyclist <ptooh> going through a red light smahed my RH light and moved the bonnet half an inch - and then limped away very rapidly (!!!) away carrying his bike. Still haven't worked out how to getthe courtesy lights to come on when I open the doors, but I'm sure that it will happen with time. I still haven't found out where to get a satnav disc for a vehicle this old, but I'm sure that that's what the forums are for, so see you there. best regards, Barrie - BJthe1DJ ps. Being a big dog person.... I wouldn't dream of giving my dogs food, treats or toys from China, Thailand, Vietnam and the like. The word 'China' and 'dog' conjures up images of dogs being beaten to death, throats cut, put in hot oil and cooked alive and eaten – images I would rather not have seen. In the US there are dogs that died of kidney disease after eating treats from China Perhaps the majority of people don't realize or maybe aren't concerned about the origin of the products. I’m told also of pet food manufacturers buying from China and adverting they are from the UK. Some get away with it by saying – they are packed in the UK, they just miss out the bit about being imported from China! What pet food brands are made in China? Many deaths have been caused from two chemical additives that were present in some of the food: melamine and cyanuric acid. When both melamine and cyanuric are present in pet food, they form dangerous crystals in the kidneys of the dogs and cats who ingest them. Toys made in China, for example, have a higher rate of toxins and lead found in their toys. Welcome Trevor, cross check who owners the brand, some are very clever at making statement like UK based, produced in the UK etc when often it means it's made in the EU, China etc and just packaged here for resale.

Hi all, New user here. Thought I'd say hi. I'm Chas. Huge car lover! Obviously Honda's are my favourite. I restore and tinker in my spare time. Projects seem to be getting bigger and bigger 🤦😂. Last year a CL9 and EJ9 rehomed with loving families. We've just said goodbye to our FN2 type R to fund our ongoing EJ2 project. Hope to share some pictures soon. 😋
