At 80 years old I am reliving the past. I recently purchased a 1989 Prelude SI. I owned one back in the mid 90's and selling it was the worst car thing I ever did. No the thrill is back.

New member this is our seventh Honda. The Jazz is the wife's vehicle as I have a CRV. Hopefully I can contribute and get assistance as required.

Hi all, I've just joined the forum, as I'm on the hunt for yet another Honda. I've always liked them and my wife and I own a 2008 Accord 2.4 EX Auto. (last UK gen) I've owned 7 Honda's in my lifetime, including our current one. I'm looking to change out of my Lexus GS430 as I'm a bit bored of spending half my time at the petrol station (but it's such a good car!) I'll be asking for some advice on here, just get opinions in addition to the test drives I will be doing.

Hello There, I bought a Honda pre-runner to the Civic in 1985 as a run about. She didn't last long. Next was an Accord Aerodeck which was a USA import and was a cracker. She lasted for 4 yours and was part exchanged for a Camper Van. Then in 2008 I bought a CRV VTEC Sport. I had her converted to LPG and kept her until October 2021. The Air Con had ceased to function and the quote was £700 plus she needed a lot of work (£1500) to get through the MOT so sadly she had to go. Now the sad bit, I have lung cancer and it is terminal and I was given 3 months to live in 2019 so I decided to give up driving. I hated it, I had to rely on my wife to go anywhere and w…

Hi everyone. I've decided that I want to own a beautiful CR-V. I have seen one but for the last 10 days I've been back and forth repeatedly to the point of madness and so was hoping for some advice. The model is 2011 EX 2.2. It is in beautiful condition both inside and out. It has full service history BUT it has 95000. Now, I fully intend to run it for the next three/four years but my doubts are; 1. I've never owned a diesel so what about the Turbo life? 2. The DPF baffles me. How can I check it? 3. The high miles i.e should I be bracing myself for major work? The car is beautiful and the car dealer is VERY patient but not for much longer I feel. …

Good evening fellow Honda owners. Yesterday I became the proud owner of a 2015 1.6 I-DTec Cr-v and what a wonderful gorgeousity it is. I have two very puzzling queries that I can't locate answers for in the expansive manuals. Firstly, there is a permanent icon on display in the small centre screen that relates to the passenger airbag. Is it supposed to always be on display? Just a bit concerned because the kids like taking turns up front and I haven't allowed it yet! Secondly, the car has the SD Navigation and I wondered what the small microphone in the bottom left hand corner of the unit is for? Thanks in advance and it's great to own a Honda at last!! Hi everyone New member here I have a Honda Accord estate 2.2 IDTEC Type S 60 plate and from couple of weeks ago my car is shaking really bad but only in 4th and 5th gear, I can feel a slight vibration in the 3rd gear as well but not all the time, I've been told that it might be the crankshaft pulley. Anyone else had the same problem? Thank you

Hi folks, just recently got my first Honda car, a nice red 2016 Civic Tourer with only 9000 miles. They caught my eye when thye first came out, but have now come into my price range. Mine's a red 1800 petrol SE Plus with sat nav, and is like new. One thing that is really causing a problem though is internal reflections on the inside of the windscreen. In the countryside, in the dark, no problem, but as soon as it's under streetlights, I get waves of reflections as I drive from the furthest part of the dash top - i.e. it's the ridge over the speedo that forms a curved line right across the screen, It's really affecting me, and I wonder if anyone else has encountered t…

Names Joe, I live in the states, I have only owned Hondas and my current Acura my whole life. My family got me started with all Hondas as well. My mother owned an 86, 99 and currently 09 accord. My brother owns the 99 Accord now. My father drives a 2000 Odyssey and I previously owned an 02 Accord and now own my 2004 RSX Type S. I love Honda vehicles and enjoy modifying and working on my vehicle myself, I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to maintenance and I go to school for automotive. I am also active on multiple acura forums as well. I like the layout of this forum and will most likely be spending a lot of time here. Cheers Joe

Hi all new to this group I have a red 05 reg Honda S2000 (my baby) :)

I have a Honda Jazz Crosstar 71 plate. I wanted a Dashcam to give some extra protection to my car in case of any incidents that arose while out driving. I was persuaded by the dealer to install the Honda Drive Recorder which I had done a couple of days ago. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to do anything useful and the instructions supplied with it are really hard to make sense of. When it was installed the sales person got it going and took a still picture of the front view and one of the back view using the reversing camera. That is all I have. The journey home wasn't recorded and I've been out a couple of times since but nothing is recorded. Does anyone have…
