hi all looking for a bit of guidance I have a 2.4l type s accord it’s in really good condition still used daily covered 110000 miles , I’ve been toying with the idea of possibly selling it so been to the usual sites to see how much they are going for but I can’t find another 1 in the whole country for sale , so anybody have any ideas what kind of money I should be looking for ???

Hello, My car, a 2008 2.2 CDTI EX saloon has the sat nav built in. For the last two years the car has only done 8k where it is normally 20k per year. This March, when summer time came in, the clock stayed on GMT. This is the first time this has happen in 13 years of ownership. Another thing that adjusted itself is my stay nav always had time of arrival on the display, now it shows the length of time required for the journey. I tried changing some settings in the menu, but to no avail. The Nav has come up with a disc fault twice in the last six months, but it restarts ok when I turn the engine off and on again. I leave in Ireland, just wondering if any time signals …

I have a 2005 2 litre Accord Tourer. I've had it since new and love it. I recently had a problem with the alarm going off randomly so had the alarm horn removed. The alarm still goes off randomly but only flashing lights rather than a loud noise! Is there a way of permanently disconnecting the alarm function? Also, recently the top of my tailgate (inside the body of the tailgate) has started creaking when going over bumpy raods. Any ideas on what this might be?

Hi all, trying to find which pulley bearings are noisy on my 05 accord 2.4 tourer - its the ones driven by the Serpentine drive belt, I had alternator checked, but that is perfect and not the problem, my local garage can not find which pulley bearings are the problem - what do all the pulleys drive, alternator, water pump, air con compressor and tensioner but what else please, any help appreciated - I don`t want to wait until it fails but would rather fix it before that happens - I will not go to Honda dealership as I no longer trust them, apart from the outrageous price - Any advice appreciated.

Hi all, I just need your opinion. I just had my car serviced by the Honda main dealers and was advised that I need to get the Power Steering High Pressure Pipe replaced as it leaking. I was shocked when I was told the pipe was £349.99 (Part Number 53713-SEA-E02 ) but more shocked when told the pipe is going to cost £450 to fit. Now my issue is this, I called 6 Honda Main dealer and one independent to get the cost collaborated And out of the 6 Main Dealers and 1 independent they all quote the same price for the part, but only one quoted the same labour price £450, all the others quoted approx £60. Hi all I have just purchased a beautiful example of an Accord 2006 2.0 i-VTEC with less than 40,000 miles with full main dealer service. Can anyone share their MPG with me. With mixed urban driving, not toeing it at all, all I can seem to get is 26mpg. I would be very interested to hear other peoples experience. Thanks

Hi All, 2008 Diesel Saloon ( 2003 to 2008). In the last few months the alarm would go off in the car. What was interesting was the indicators were not flashing, and anything I did, remote locking and key locking, starting and driving the car made no difference, alarm still going off. It happen a few times when I was out, car was at home. I think after about 15 minutes it would stop. I did try disconnecting the car battery and once I would connect it up again , off it would go again. Any ideas? Hi I have an issue with my heater on my 2007 Honda Accord 2.2 icdti, It blows cold air and hot air for a short while and then goes back to blowing cold air. Any ideas or suggestions on what to do.

Sat nav upgrade.

Tailgate opens every time with fob but fails to close. Tailgate light on dash constantly illuminated. If it opens I assume sensors are clean and operating also gas struts and motors work ok. No noises when fob pressed to close like beeps or whirring sound. Tried over a number of years to solve this so any further advice please

No diagrams for belts diagram anywhere🤯 but if you look on ebay for used engines you will find them with the belt on the engines so you get an idea of the fitment i hope this helps some one 👍👍👍

Hi Guys, Got a new issue with my Accord EX 2.2Cdti 07 which appears linked to previous "mends" made - so I think I need to research this further... I was driving today to work when suddenly transfering to 3rd, the revs slowly decrease. This despite being fully in gear and with my foot down... no power. Pulled over, restart and can pull away but same issue when going back into 3rd! Pull over... etc. Then I decided to skip 3rd into fourth, same reaction. The curious thing is that it doesnt stall the enigine - almost as if the engine ignores all throttle input and goes to idle @ ~800rpm (although Ive yet to allow it to) once put into 3rd. …

Hi all. I have had a 2008 Mk 8 Honda Accord 2.4 auto (200bhp) saloon with ADAS for 9 years. 100,000 miles. No problems and it is a fabulous, reliable and good looking car. Except last January 2022 my Satnav stopped working and the clock went several hours out. I went into the menu but no go. I took the disc out and several weeks later the Satnav started working but it didn’t show time for trip etc. But yesterday…surprise, the clock righted itself (an hour slow) but duration time of journey now shows! A long winded story. I presume it will correct itself in October when the clocks go back!

Recently I've had an issue where the VSA warning would come up in the info panel, as I was braking. It would clear if I cycled the ignition off/on. It happened again the other day, so I was and plug in my reader. It flagged up a faulty brake switch. So I ordered a replacement switch that arrived today.... and swapped them over. Now I have no brake lights at all... I've double, triple checked everything. Run diagnostics, checked live data feed... the switch is showing no activity when pressed.
