Just had my 2.2 i de-tec Honda civic re- mapped to stage 2. OMG what a difference. My Civic now goes like a bat out of hell got to hold on tight. plus MPG is so much better when driving sensibly, getting around 55/58 MPG, and also its alot smoother and responsive. has any one else had a re-map done, and with what results. Re-map was carried out by Celtic Tuning in Newquay Cornwall.

Anyone know where I can obtain a matt black cover to prevent sunshine glare from the shiny dash reflecting glare on the windscreen? Also, do Honda offer an aftrrmarket catalytic conveter protection cage? I gather Honda cars are espeiecially prone to having their cats stolen... or maybe a specialist company alternative supplier?

  4. We are seeing quite a few posts on the subject of Honda economy (or lack of it) Obviously this depends on how the where the car is driven (e.g. extra-urban, around town, etc) and also whether it has a petrol, hybrid or diesel engine, E5 versus E10 petrol, manual or automatic gearbox. Post up your MPG and vehicle details and see if there is a trend occurring or whether it is satisfactory

Hi. I have a Thatcham category Stoplock Pro Elite Steering wheel Lock.Unfortunately it is not suitable for my Honda Jazz 2022 model as it has to sit right over the horn !!! Can anyone suggest a decent alternative please. Thanks.

  9. Hi all, just wondering if anyone can give me some help and advice here as I've tried a few garages so far and gotten nowhere. My engine has some strange/erratic behaviour on light loads - Sometimes it will stutter/Kangaroo before coming to life, other times it will have almost no response to the throttle initially then when you press it a little harder it revs frantically like its running away. This only seems to happen within the first half inch of pedal travel, so what you use when pulling away gently in city driving and slow cruises. At heavier loads i.e. accelerating with more vigour or faster cruises say 50mph+ these faults do not occur. It is only in stop/…

Hello I'm thinking about getting a code reader / scanner. Can anyone offer any advice about what to get or what to look for, or perhaps recommend a particular model? I don't want to spend a fortune but would be interested to know what options there are and what you get for paying a bit more?

Hi, Which place do you order parts and Honda oils for your car?

  16. I don't know if anyone else on this forum has ever had seriously bad Dealership experiences when taking their car in to get serviced. When I purchased my 95 Prelude from a private owner the service book showed a PERFECT history FULL of Dealership stamps. To check if they were genuine I dyno'd the car and found it STILL made 185bhp at the crank and 143bhp at the wheel!! Buoyed up by this I decided that took keep up the cars value I would contribute to have it serviced at my local dealership, Western Honda. However, when I took the vehicle in for a service the last thing I expected was the garage to change my oil, inspect the car and charges me £492!! I could have…

HELP. I am not a member but am seeking help to get an English manual for the infotainment system in my Honda City (Thailand). It is mostly easy to operate but there are some aspects that I just can't seem to resolve - need a manual. I have searched the net for hours and hours for 4 years and my dealer can't help. Now I have retired here I want to get full use of the system. It's an older model (image at https://www.wapcar.my/news/deal-breaker-we-love-the-honda-jazz-but-we-just-cant-live-with-the-infotainment-system-1866 ). Any pointers, especially to a soft copy, would be gratefully received. Not worried if I have to pay. Thanks and Regards, Ian Breach

Is it possible I have pressed lock on the key while the boot was open getting my stuff and left it in there when closing the boot? I’m baffled

Hi, Just joined this forum. I've been a long time owner of all things Honda. I have 2 bikes 3 cars at the moment and I'm considering letting one go. But I'm not sure if I should. It's a classic Honda Accord Aerodeck 2.0 ex Manual with only 34,000 genuine miles. Should I keep it? modify it? Or just sell it on to someone who could love it that bit more?
