CR-V 2007 to 2011

Had my clarion sat nav recoded since then it starts up in france ,it also won't follow route. Any ideas please.

Dear All, I need your support on some issues which I'm currently facing since day one of my purchase. I live in the Middle East and have purchased a brand new Honda CRV 2019. 1) The vehicle center top dome light works but it is actually supposed to get dim gradually and automatically go off once I get inside and switch on the engine. However, the lights only get illuminated when I open the door and remain continually on and I dunno why this problem exists. Hi, my Honda CRv has just come up with a parking sensor error on the dashboard. Looking online it could possibly be due to the bulb in the parking sensor switch, it shows if broken then creates this fault. I'm struggling to identify the part to replace it. Its a 2013 Petrol executive model. any ideas, and any ideas on stockiest for the bulb.

I've recently purchased a 2007 2.0 EX petrol, which has a dirty lump of sponge stuck inside the fuel flap (photo attached). Is this standard, or has a previous owner added this for some reason? It's not something I've had on any other car I've owned.

They come on when doing a bit of cornering and breaking. Only way yo clear is to turn ignition off and back on. Any suggestions?

Hi you Expert Technical Honda Crv Guys, I need some help please, The Gear Change on my mk3 1997cc Manual 4 Wheel Drive CRV is not smooth when selecting through the gears I can only describe it as clunky from 1st gear to 6th gear and also the reverse gear, could this be due to requiring a gear box oil change which might solve the problem or a gear selector alignment which might required, I have never experienced this before in other cars , my local garage, they are not Honda Specialists say it could be because its a 4 wheel drive CRV, that could this be the problem or is this their answer as they are not sure , I would really appreciate some help please Guys as its annoyi…

Hi, Having had several months with an audio problem with my mk 4 (2015) CR-V I thought others may benefit from my resolution! Problem As topic title, I experienced a buzzing/electrical noise back in spring 2022 after a 30-minute drive in the rain. I’ve checked the micro blade fuses under the bonnet and passenger glove compartment and all are intact. The rear speakers are operating normally, so it’s only the front speakers with the problem. The unwanted noise seems to differ. It’s more obvious (higher pitch) when accelerating compared to coasting (foot off the accelerator). You do hear a difference too when changing gears. I've had my 2007 CR-V nearly a month now, and twice in that time I've gone to open the boot, but it doesn't open. The car is unlocked and all doors open, but not the boot. The first time it happened I put things in the back seat instead, then tried the boot again (I think) the next day and it opened. However, yesterday I went to put things in but it wouldn't open no matter how many times I locked/unlocked the car. Is this a known issue? It's going to be my wife's main vehicle once her car has sold, so I'm trying to get anything sorted before she uses it.

Have just bought a 67 plate CRV SE + NAVI 1.5 EcoDream engine. System management light showed twice - issue with the engine. Appears there is known problem with this engine regenerating and/or fuel injection. Wish had looked online before ! Is this isolated or is this a common issue? No Honda fix it seems. Are people living with this or is there something that stops it ? Thank you .

Hi all, Car is a 2013 MK4 EX UK spec As per the title I get no warning beeps when I lock or unlock the car, also no beeps when I open or close the power tail gate. Some post mention a setting in the audio system but not on mine see pic below. Anyone any ideas, was thinking if someone previously had disconnected the buzzer!

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on here, hoping someone can help. I have a 2008 CRV 2.2 diesel, starts first time when cold and runs perfectly even down the motorway. Problem is, once you turn it off it will not start again for 2 or so hours when its cooled down, it just turns over and displays engine light and VSA & TSA. Once cold back to normal again!! Main dealer has said the ECU is not holding its memory and needs a new ECU at £1700. Had a second garage take a look and they have said ECU memory is all there it's just not communicating when warm. My CR-V went in for it's 4 year service and 3 days later I drove it, parked up did some shopping for an hour and came out and it wouldnt start. I called my breakdown company and they came out and it started straight away. The same thing happened last week, called the breakdown and they jump started it. it was fine, ran it for few hours but the next morning it wouldn't start. Charger said it was at 50% so charged to 100%, the next day it failed to start. Recharged battery, disconnected it from the car and left it overnight. Reconnected it back up and it started. Hi folks. Bought an 07 CR V 2.2 i cdti. It's got Full Service and 147k on it. Hellish obvious Turbo Siren noise at around 2.5rmp and more. I'm hoping to check for Oil Starvation to the Turbo? It runs amazingly well. Boost great and goes like a small rocket. Or has anyone got any other ideas? I had the exact same noise on an Alfa Romeo 159 a few years ago and the turbo bearings whent resulting in a cloud of black smoke. Any advice on what I can check on the drive? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone help me with information regarding moving the driver seat further back . I need to remount the rail back to allow me more legroom . Hello all, I have a Honda CR-V EX i-VTEC automatic, model year 2007. Last month, my car failed to start when I turned on the engine. It seems the battery had a dead cell and was replaced under warranty. A week later, the car failed to start again! I called RAC, who conducted a battery test and found no issues. Hi All, I have a 2007 CRV, and a 2010 Wiring Harness for tow connection - part number 08L91-sww-6 -12N Problem i have is the 12N (7Pin side) has been chopped off. Looking at the wiring, i think i have figured out all the wires, except one! Pics attached, but essentially i dont know where the red+Black wire goes. From the harness, it looks like it goes to the right side cluster (looking at the car from the back). The harness itself looks like it replaces the existing one in the car with the blue connectors going in between the exiting wiring. Dear Forum, I have a question if I may please ? we have unfortunately lost one of our keyless fobs for the above vehicle. I've contacted 2 dealers to get prices for replacement keyless fobs, both have quoted eye watering prices, we are talking nearly £500 from one & £650 from the 2nd ! I expected a replacement to be expensive but wasn't prepared for those kind of prices. I'm just exploring different options, we may be able to claim from home insurance for a replacement for example. Hello, I don't know if anyone can help. We lost our main key fob this week. Our second key fob has never worked and Honda failed to take any responsibility. So we only have a key fob which works if you hold it over the stop/start button. It isn't the battery that is dead. This isn't the problem. Can anyone recommend someone who can fix this fob without costing the earth like at Honda? Many thanks, Thomas
