HI everyone, I have a 1.8 Frv with 140k on clock, family owned from new. Very recently I can see inner tyre wear on both front tyres inner edges. Car drives ok and no unusual sounds when on steering. I'm away on holiday ATM so can't talk a proper look, or provide any pics. Recent Mot pass no advisors. Has anyone else come across this issue, I'm suspecting some kind if suspension issue. Thanks. My 2005 FR-V has a leak where water is getting into the footwell. I saw a YouTube video that showed water getting in where a gland on a cable had come out but my problem seems to be the strip on the right hand side of the windshield that seals it. I can see water coming in through the door seal just below the little triangle shaped window is. I pulled the carpet up and left it like that for now!! Hi, The retaining nut at the top of one of the support piston has come undone and dropped inside the body/window trim! How can I get to the innards to retrieve and refit the nut? Any help would be appreciated!

I have a crack in my windscreen, I have tried to go through my insurance and their glass care company are saying that the glass is discontinued for the 2005 model and they can’t source it, where do I go from here please?

I have a 2006 1.7 FRV. The hand brake lever is fully out and will only return a couple of inches, when released. I have unbolted the assembly from under the dash, but there does not seem any access into the unit. When releasing the handle the cable to the adjuster under the seat does not move. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Hi so last week someone did a hit and run on the front of my frv. It’s bang on the centre and bumper is smashed and bonnet lip bent. I managed to get the bonnet open but now it won’t fully close so effectively it’s just open and in the latch. I can open the bonnet from the outside without using the bonnet release from the interior. This also means that the alarm doesn’t fully set (or so I think), as in when car is locked the indicators don’t flash and red dash light doesn’t come on. however randomly the alarm is going off sometimes through the night, or sometimes could go whole day and it won’t go off at all. Hi all, my wife has an FR-V which the blower motor packed up on. I tried the regulator first but it turned out the fan was broken so I sourced a replacement which is working. The controls on the dash increase and drop the fan speed fine. The issue is that we're not getting any air out of the screen demist vents or any of the cabin facing vents - sides , middle or downward. I've taken the filters out behind the glovebox and am getting good airflow there. I can see the flaps opening when I put the screen fan on and cycling through the downward and forward facing options see the actuators changing. I have spotted 3 of them and all seem to be operating. Hi I need to replace all 4 springs at some point as they are corroded. I don’t want the car lowered so looking for similar springs. Can’t find a part number anywhere and no idea what oem springs are suitable. Does anyone know?

A year later after the driver side mirror motor packed in, the passenger side now has too. I can’t find a black one at any breakers that is power folding. i don’t suppose anyone has one?

Hi there! I have a bit of a weird problem where I could really use some advice. The rear left signal light of my 2005 FR-V stopped working after towing our caravan for a while. I think it was OK until we unhitched the caravan. Situation right now: Right signal: normal Left signal: only front & mirror (fast flashing) Hazard lights: normal (also rear left) Locking: normal (three blinks, also rear left) Trailer lights: no singnal ligths left & right, rearlights and brake light normal. Hi Everyone. Driving back home yesterday after a 40mile run my engine stopped about 500 metres from my house. It wouldn't start again (plenty of fuel). After 5 mins it started again then just died straight away and did this a few times. After it cooled the engine started and runs fine but I have an orange engine light on. Any ideas? Fuel filter maybe? I'm reluctant to take it for a long run. Thanks in advance...It's the 2.2 diesel

my Speedo stopped working and wondered if people have ideas? I believe that the sensor PWR-013 may be at fault and wondered it’s position? Also is there a fuse that also associated to the speedo?

Hi there, Any advice on the above? 2006 Honda FRV 2.2 crdi with 110000 miles. We have come back from a long journey and VSA and ABS lights suddenly came on. Not doing anything particular at the time. Drove the car a few miles, stopped and restarted it and the light went away. Drove normally, no problems but then this happened again several times. I knew we had a problem anyway with the brakes as pads were low by the time we got back and have had it at the garage for a caliper replacement on the rear offside wheel as well as new pads, which needed changing. Hello Is there any guideline as to how much oil the engine is expected to use. Every time I check it (which isn't that often) the oil seems to be low. And whilst we're talking about oil - what is the best oil to buy? When I put the registration in to various car parts stores they usually seem to recommend an oil that is designed for Ford engines. Is it important to stick to the exact recommended API category (the handbook says) SJ or SL, or is it ok to use SN instead? Besides the API specification, is there anything else that matters? The manual specifies 5W30 viscosity.
