Hi Everyone. Driving back home yesterday after a 40mile run my engine stopped about 500 metres from my house. It wouldn't start again (plenty of fuel). After 5 mins it started again then just died straight away and did this a few times. After it cooled the engine started and runs fine but I have an orange engine light on. Any ideas? Fuel filter maybe? I'm reluctant to take it for a long run. Thanks in advance...It's the 2.2 diesel

Help want to fit double din stereo but need fascia surround

HI everyone, I have a 1.8 Frv with 140k on clock, family owned from new. Very recently I can see inner tyre wear on both front tyres inner edges. Car drives ok and no unusual sounds when on steering. I'm away on holiday ATM so can't talk a proper look, or provide any pics. Recent Mot pass no advisors. Has anyone else come across this issue, I'm suspecting some kind if suspension issue. Thanks. Hi all fellow Honda Humans please help ASAP back lights not working or plate lights. Hello I have an 2006 FR-V, 2L petrol which has recently had a replacement catalytic converter and lambda sensors fitted after the originals were stolen. A couple of months after they were fitted, the yellow engine malfunction light has been coming on. I've taken it to my local mechanic who found the P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold fault code (alongside P2185 - although P0420 was listed first and I've had P2185 sporadically before). Hello, just joined forum, and recently bought FRV 2.2 diesel. I have noticed the engine takes an age to warm up, more so as the weather is getting colder. I believe the thermostat is either stuck open or is missing completely. I have bought a new thermostat, but looking in the engine bay I cannot see the housing. I think it is under the EGR valve somewhere. Could I access the thermostat from underneath if I removed the plastic engine shield? Any info greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there. I own a Honda Frv 54 plate. My nearside rear abs sensor is faulty and I can't for the love of god find anybody that sells a replacement ! Are there any other Honda vehicles that share the same abs sensor ? Please help as I'm beginning to lose my mind.

Hi all. So I have this FR-V that's causing me headache for a while. It's a 2008 2.2 diesel with 6speed manual gearbox, just over 123k miles. Bought it with few issues that I thought will be easy to fix, but stuck at the moment.. The main issue is that the car is pulling to the left. The odd thing about it is that the pull is not consistent. I.e. in the morning, when you set off there's no noticeable pull, while couple roundabouts later, you really need to hold the steering wheel! A year later after the driver side mirror motor packed in, the passenger side now has too. I can’t find a black one at any breakers that is power folding. i don’t suppose anyone has one?

Hi Folks, great forum on here, and I'm hoping you guys can help me out, my question is, can I fit (the Honda factory fit) roof rails to an FRV that's doesn't have them? i.e. I'm looking at buying an FRV currently choosing between two models; a 2006 (low milage) or a 2009 (high milage). Im leaning towards the low milage 2006 model but I will need roof rails and the 2006 doesn't have them, so are roof rails somthing I can fit after the fact? Thanks in advance!

Hi there! I have a bit of a weird problem where I could really use some advice. The rear left signal light of my 2005 FR-V stopped working after towing our caravan for a while. I think it was OK until we unhitched the caravan. Situation right now: Right signal: normal Left signal: only front & mirror (fast flashing) Hazard lights: normal (also rear left) Locking: normal (three blinks, also rear left) Trailer lights: no singnal ligths left & right, rearlights and brake light normal. Hello Looking for ideas here. I had a catalytic converter and lamda sensors stolen. I bought replacements online (onlineautomotive.co.uk) and a few months later it started tripping the engine management light - P0420: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). I'm now wondering about trying to get the catalytic converter replaced under warranty and wondering what is the best way to go about it? They understandably want to pick it up, but I need to use the car in the mean time if there is a delay until they send out a replacement or refund. My 2007 Honda FRV has a leak in the heater core making passenger footwell wet. Also strong smell of antifreeze coolant and windows steam up. Am looking to replace the heater matrix with a new one. Labour is approx 5 hours so used heater matrix with 90days warrenty is not ideal. New part has a year warrenty. Unfortunately Honda have the heater matrix on back order until May 2024 and none are in stock! Does anyone know the part details or if this part is shared with another Honda. Have found a company to manufacturer a new radiator but I need to send them a photo with details.

Hello guys Just has a quick question, I've recently upgraded my headunit to a new pioneer double din, ive used the connect 2 interface and the new stalk patch lead for the steering wheel control however my controls for the stereo do not work, the green plug which plugs into the back of the original factor stereo remains untouched as I am not sure if it has the cruise controls connected to it as well. Could you guys help me understand how to get the steering wheel controls to work pls Many thanks

Hi All FRV 1.8 2008 Petrol. My parking sensor just gives a contant tone/continous long beep when the reverse gear is engaged. All 4 sensors click when touched. Ive cleaned the seneors even though they werent dirty inc using wd40. Ive disconnected the battery for a bout 5-6 mins but still no joy. Any one have any suggestions what could be the cause? Or what i can do do fix it? Im not going to be able to take the rear bumper off or anything. Not sure where the control module is or how to access it? Thanks for any advice

Hi I am in need of help I urgently need to know where the crank shaft sensor is located on my Honda fr-v any info as to where it is located will be much appreciated.

My hand brake when disengaged the light stays on fiddle with handle goes it goes off hit a bump on it’s comes on with warning tone brake fluid ok pads shoes all new is there a sensor on the handbrake mechanism and how do I change it and it’s location any help would be appreciated
