From a News report I saw this week, new coal power plants are opening weekly so why is it always us in the UK that have to change to electric cars etc????? The use of fossil fuels in increasing nearly everywhere Countries and territories with the largest number of operational coal power plants worldwide as of July 2023 and have no intentions of changing. China (Mainland} 2 new every week India United States Japan Indonesia Russia Germany Poland Turkey Ukraine Philippines Vietnam Czechia South Korea Kazakhstan Taiwan Australia South Africa BTW …

Does anyone have any comments about these animals, As a responsible Parent and hopefully a responsible Person, I have my own personal views on this. I have had Dogs my latest Two Beautiful Border Collies who sadly died last year but I always made sure they were well trained and safe on a lead when out walking them .

See the fuel prices are on the up again, same every year at hoilday time the prices always go up. Many years ago I managered a service station (Chevron Oil Co) !!! and the prices were always increased at those times because people are normally going out and about more. Remember - Texaco, Regent, Total, anymore??????

Hi Guys & Gals I am thinking about pre booking a Holiday to Portugal Next Year , Has anyone a favourite place, I always go to Majorca but next year I am thinking of a change of scenery, I have a young Family so will be looking for a Hotel near the Beach with Hotel Activities i.e. Large Pool, Water Slides and activities for the Kids, I would like to book an all Inclusive Holiday for about a 10-14 days as Kids are always snacking and drinking on Holiday and can if not careful cost a fortune on food and drinks, so Inclusive seems to be the way to go. We live near to Bournemouth so again Flights to Portugal from Bournemouth Airport would be a bonus as less travelling…

Seen that Car Insurance Companies are blaming the increased high cost of Car Insurance this year on Electric Cars , I am not a fan of Electric Cars but this comment by Insurance Companies seems to me to be a fob off by them to unjustifiably penalise all Motorists to increase the insurance costs What do other Members think ???

My old dad use to use his hanky as a sun hat - tie a knot at each corner and off you go..... I can remember as a kid having a knitted looking/feeling swimming trunks, ok till they go wet, and when you came out of the water the crotch was full of wet sand and round your knees.... My mother used to put Baby Oil (steady it's my mother) on as sun tanning oil - it was all the rage! Then when we were all red as beetroot we were covered in Calamine lotion that turned into a white powder.... Happy Days

Today I'm giving a Friend a lift to Southampton Docks as She is off on a 14 day Cruise to New York on the QE2 , I have never been on board the Ship but to all accounts it's like a floating Luxury Hotel . My time at Sea was spent in the Royal Navy as a Diver with small Ships and a couple of Submarines not as Luxurious as this . but with good Friends and saw the World. BAZZER RN 1

Hi All Whilst I agree about the 20 mph speed limit being imposed outside Schools or any other places where young persons might be vulnerable to traffic injury, I am not sure I agree with this being made law on other roads. Had my renewal update from the RAC today, was £29.50 a month now going up to £46.99. !! So a phone call when I can find the right contact number- 'How can we help you today'? Easy cancel my membership your taking the P with that sort of increase I'll go with Green Flag. 'Lets see if I can help you' .....pause.... 'How about if we can renew your membership with all the current benefits for £31.00'?...... So I said yes but it seems we are being screwed left, right and centre if we don't fight back. Alan

Having been around a good few years I wonder why they no longer fit indicators to such cars as BMW and Merc's, why people around here drive in the centre of the road and park on corners, and park in 2 parking bays, yep had a bad morning!!! Alan

Don’t you hate it when you go shopping and you park your car in a safe place (in the corner of the store car park, so far you almost have to catch a bus to the store) and then you come back and your car has been scratched?? Or on your return you find a half empty car park and someone in an old beat up car parked next to you? You think to yourself, why park there and not in the other thousand spaces availale? GRR LOL

I got pulled over for no tags, because I'd just got the car. The officer then proceeded to breathalyze me! Imagine his surprise when not only did I supply the proper paperwork but also pass the breathalyzer test. I was profiled because my del sol is red and I'm a relatively young driver.
