Jazz 2008 to 2015

Not sure if this is a good place to put this. I have been leasing several Jazz over the last decade with Motability. I got a Jazz HEV+ last year. This my first automatic and first hybrid. The onboard driver assist is annoying as f***. It keeps trying to stop me from overtaking parked cars on empty roads. I can turn it off, but it turns back on as soon as I restart the car. I had to top up the tyres. The deflation warning system message said I needed to initialise it. I looked in the owners guide. I could not find anything about it. Found a youtube video about an civic with a similar system. The damn thing is in the flat screen multimedia thing. …

Hi I am a newbie to the forum my I’d is Hicabod36 I have a problem with the shark fin antenna it got damaged when reversing out of my garage. The up and over door got blown down by a strong gust of wind and caught the antenna as I was reversing out. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement antenna one that works with all frequencies including DAB radio. I see them advertised on the web quite cheep but I am unsure of the quality. please any advice would be appreciated I am going around with a plastic bag taped over the remains to keep the weather out any advice would be most appreciated

Is this a good choice? Is it as reliable as the previous generation model ? What about the catalytic converter on this model ? Is it still easy to get it stolen ? If so, what can be done to prevent it from being stolen ?

Hi, my wife has had her Jazz hybrid for a month and still getting used to it. She noticed that there is an amber "i" on the digital dash and on scrolling through the various menus has found that there is and amber "SOS" on the dash. We haven't noticed this before. Is this normal? the SOS button in the roof is illuminated in red, we don't know if this is the normal state either! One further question, the car is used mainly for short journeys to the shops, is it better to have the gear selector in "B" or "D"? thanks

Hello, My 2010 Honda Jazz is not starting and I can see all warning lights are on suddenly. I didn't have any issue prior to this, so not quite sure what went wrong. When I turn the key, I can see the gear indicator changed from N to something like 8 and I think that might be the issue. Video Here Anyone has seen this issue and can advise me on it pls? Thanks

My mother has a Jazz and the TPWS warning has come on, as often happens when the temperature drops. The tyres are fine, but I need to reset the warning I have searched youtube videos and there are lot of them, but all for later models. My mum's is from 2015, but I think a newer model may have come out later that year, so this would be the previous model and the menus and controls are not the same. I have attached some pics to show the layout of the wheel and the dash. It seems the menu is accessed by holding the (i) button, but I can't seem to find where in the menu does the reset Any help gratefully received

Hi, folks. My Mum's typically reliable Jazz has been 'serviced' for some time by a dodgy mechanic, as the Honda dealership service costs were beyond her reach, being a UK pensioner. Anyways, she recently had the gearbox oil changed and the new mechanic pointed out that the gearbox oil hadn't been changed for a VERY long time. Now, especially In hot weather, things get decidedly stiff when changing gear after about 10 miles or so. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

2016 Honda Jazz - twice the drivers side rear footwell filled with liquid. Thinks its smells like screen wash fluid. Each time the screen wash reservoir emptied far quicker than I expected. Only seems to happen after I' ve used rear screen wash. Any of you people experienced this? After the first occasion I tried Utube and used fresh mastic to seal the plastic sheet in side the adjacent door and pocked clean the drain holes but no luck. Soaked carpet, underlay/sound deadening and floor pan recess. Second time I tested the one way valve found in the hatch door shut. Air from a tyre pump flows freely one way but not the other. I purchased a 2018 Jazz SE a couple of weeks ago and am working througth the comprehensive manual. One problem I have encountered is with the cruise control . Try as I might I cannot get it to work despite the indicator on the multi-information display showing the cruise control logo. the cruise limiter is fine but the cruise control appears not to work. Any help would be appreaciated

After I had to disconnect the battery on my 2014 Jazz, there is no power to the radio, although the CD ejects. I can't enter the security code which is the problem. Any ideas please.

The only place I can find a space saver spare wheel that will definitely fit a 2021 Jazz is Kwik Fit and it's over £200 which is a bit steep. Anybody any ideas on better value?

Hi everyone Just purchased a new Honda jazz ex. Should get it in December I automatically expected it would support android Auto wireless, however on digging deeper into the vehicles spec, it appears only android auto is supported and not the wireless version, although wireless apple play is supported, this seems a bit strange Searching the internet seems that by altering some on the info screen that android auto wireless can be installed. I don't fancy messing about with a new car Anyone had experience with this problem. I suppose I could use the usb version of it Thanks

I have just purchased a2018 SE Jazz and in the course of going through the various functions om the Multi information display I have inadvertently changed the language from English to German. and can't seem to be able to change it back to English. Any help would be appreciated

Hi guys, I am fitting a non standard multi function display in my 2017 Jazz and can’t get the reverse camera to work. Not sure what pins are what so not sure where the wires for the camera are or what colours. Any help much appreciated.

Is there any way on the 2021 Jazz to disable the auto unfolding of the side mirrors when entering the car? I park my current car in my garage and have to fold the manual side mirrors in because of the restricted space and manually unfold when leaving the garage. On the Jazz, I believe I can fold them in electrically prior to entering the garage but what I don't want is them auto unfolding until I am out of the garage when starting the next day.

Has anyone encountered the following on the new hybrid? 1) If the car isn't driven at least every other day the clock is slow by a specific number of minutes and doesn't correct itself until the car has been driven for at least 30 minutes. 2) The radio on/off button intermittently does not work. Recently bought a 2018 Jazz Ex. I have paired my Android phone successfully but when I tried to load Android Auto I hit a brick wall (figuratively speaking that is). I asked my dealer about this and they said it is not possible and only the new 2020 model is compatible with Android Auto. Does anyone know any different? I saw reviews on YouTube which led me to think that it would work.

When i go over slightly rough road there's this fairly sound rattling from the rear near side. Think its underneath. Took it to the garage twice and they said tightened up the rear seat brackets but I don't think its inside. More like suspension area. Only done 17K miles. Anyone had this? thanks. VTEC model auto.
