Hi there Just popped in as I have a technical question. But before I post that (will need to find the right section). Had a look around and am impressed with the friendly helpful nature of members here. No surprise really as you are all Honda owners so know how to make correct decisions. 😄 Anyway I have a CR-V EX I-CTDI 2009 for about 6 or 7 years now. Love it. Other than having to fill it up every now and again not many problems. No I lie the aircon compressor went down - cost a bomb to fix. Otherwise just niggles here and there. Live in West Sussex - previously in North London up to a few weeks ago. May get another H…

Hi all, Upon my wife's recommendation to buy a Japanese car, opted for a 12 year old Honda Jazz, so far so good, it takes a bit getting used to how it changes gear, apart from that, seems a great little car. Br0ders

Hi, I'm in my third year of owning my Accord ctdi, and still loving it! Although buying the car as spares or repair, I've found it to be easy to work on, everything that is classed as serviceable is easy to get at, unlike my previous cars... I like the ride of a decent size car whilst still getting 50+ mpg...

Just saying hello. Currently own a 2006 Honda CR-V that have owned for the best part of 6 years now. Been one of the most useful cars we have owned. Original owner ticked pretty much all the options that were available back when it was new so it has some quite rare options fitted which gives it the look that first attracted me to it. Over the years its been a reliable car with it having a couple of issues over the years. In fairness to the car only one of the issues was the cars fault & the other issues it has had were down to circumstances. Luckily I know my way around a toolbox so sorting the problems wasn't a issue especi…

  10. My parents have been long time honda car owners and I just joined the Honda family with my first car- a 1993 Honda Del Sol in incredible condition! I'm hoping to fix up a couple of things with the car but I'd like to keep it mostly stock.

Hi folks, my latest car’s a 22 reg. last Saturday drove about 12 miles, stopped in car park whilst the better half went to shop so switched off and power on to listen to car radio. After about 4 minutes radio went dead. Could not restart it. Dashboard lights would come on but engine would not turn over. AA man called out and battery failed test. Car started with his booster and driven to local Honda garage. Just been told the battery only needed a charge and could easily be depleted after listening to the radio for only 4 minutes. I’m not convinced. Anyone else had poor battery life problems?

Good evening everyone, just registered here as i believe that there is never enough places where honda is being discussed. In one month i will be owning my accord mk7 2.2 ictdi sport for 10 years. Woohooo what a tine we had together until this point. However, a few days ago i acquired accord 2.2 idtec type s tourer and i am absolutely loving this car! I hope I'll get at least 10 years out of it too as my old accord is still perfect to drive just little bit too outdated.

Hi all, New member,. I am new to Hondas but have been playing with cars and motorcycles for a lot of years. I live in Spain but have a UK RHD, Spanish registered, Accord 2001 2.0 Vtec (F20B6). I will have a few questions but will be asking them in the correct forum for the vehicle, rather than turning my introduction into a question fest!

Greetings all, new Legend owner from Warwickshire. Well, the car isn't new, but it's new to me. 2000 model. Anyway I've been poking about and I found a ride height sensor on the OSR shock absorber (see pic). There is a position sensor pot behind the bracket which you can't see in this pic, plus an electrical connector. Does anyone know what this is for? I can't find it in the [Acura RL] workshop manual I have.

Right I'm a newbie and only just got my Honda. First time I have ever owned an Honda. Loving it so far but I cannot for the life of me figure out something. Is it possible to have the speed that I am doing displayed at all times without resorting to looking at my speed diameter all the time. I am slowly getting used to the touch screen etc. I swear you need a mensa degree to figure it out !! I've looked in the book, googled, you tubed nearly everthing I can think of . If anyone can tell me how to do it in laymans terms I would be really grateful. The honda I've got is a Honda CR-V 2.0 i-VTEC SR 5dr [DASP] Petrol Estate 2017. Thanks for reading

  21. very grateful to be part of this owners club. I've seen a tidy 2009 Accord 2.2 diesel with just over 100k on the clock well looked after with full SH through Honda. Keen to get others views if I should buy it? I hear there are a isolated accounts of dpf issues (but that can affect all modern diesels i suppose!). If I do proceed, what should I do in the first month of ownership? is there a top 10 list of dos and don'ts? again, thank you for having me join the club.

Hello I have a 2008 honda civic automatic Hybrid, I Had a quote from honda for a new battery pack ( £2367) inclusive of fitting and vat. the warranty they give is for a 12 month as it is classed as a spare part. The warranty on new car batteries when new was for 5 years or a 100,000 miles. has any one have advise on what the warranty should be surely the battery manufactures of the batteries should have a warranty of 5 years /100,000 miles. thank you for any input.
