Good evening fellow Honda owners. Yesterday I became the proud owner of a 2015 1.6 I-DTec Cr-v and what a wonderful gorgeousity it is. I have two very puzzling queries that I can't locate answers for in the expansive manuals. Firstly, there is a permanent icon on display in the small centre screen that relates to the passenger airbag. Is it supposed to always be on display? Just a bit concerned because the kids like taking turns up front and I haven't allowed it yet! Secondly, the car has the SD Navigation and I wondered what the small microphone in the bottom left hand corner of the unit is for? Thanks in advance and it's great to own a Honda at last!! Bendybead.

Hi All Noob to the forum, but I've been driving Hondas for the last 15+years. Currently have an original Gen1 Insight in daily use (274k miles or there abouts) and a sorry looking EK civic Jordan I'm trying to sell (sorry for starting with a for sale ad). Prior to this I've had a '97 DC2 which was THE best car ever and a similar age Accord Coupe.

Hello All just introducing myself - I have recently become the proud owner of a 2016 CRV after years of company car BMWs - it’s a breath of fresh air! However owning my own car doesn’t half make you paranoid about parking, recently surfaced roads etc - so any advice on a bonnet protector and side bars in the UK and who could fit them - the car is white so they would have to be black - TIA

Hi my name is Marc (new member) and I own a metalic bronze 1978 Hoda Civic 1.2 5 door. The car is in excellent condition and runs well apart from a recent problem of the carburetor leaking badly after priming and restarting car after 18 months lay up. I have contacted the local Portsmouth Honda dealer who was very helpful and passed my request for a carb refirb kit to Honda UK. Unfortunately they are unable to help due to the age of the car, and I was wondering if any member can point me in the right direction. The carb in question is a GT3 DCG - 306 - 45A. As the car runs well I will only require a gasket and O ring kit if possible. Any help wou…

Hi Trever Thanks for the reply, sorry I've been away for a bit, but things are slowly but surly getting back to some sort of normality and my days are getting fuller. I agree with your observation about the gadgets in the car, but I have worked my way through the owners manual, and have just about sorted them all out !! I have also downloaded the 'Honda e' app on my phone, and added the extras, 'O.K. Honda' etc., (Very useful). You can locate the car anywhere, and perform certain functions like locking or unlocking the doors, and sound the horn to find it in a multi story carpark or large parking area. Neil

Hi new member in Devon, well we bought her in Feb, 10 reg, just done nearly 1400 faultless miles driving in France, really lovely cars, 70 equates to just over 2k revs (6spd man). Only fault as such is getting USB in glove box to link up with my Huawei phone, it worked on my daughter's iPhone perfectly. Aux socket in the centre console doesn't work at all either unfortunately. All the best. Neil

Hi all, New member,. I am new to Hondas but have been playing with cars and motorcycles for a lot of years. I live in Spain but have a UK RHD, Spanish registered, Accord 2001 2.0 Vtec (F20B6). I will have a few questions but will be asking them in the correct forum for the vehicle, rather than turning my introduction into a question fest!

Hi my name is Jim, I've owned Honda motorcycles (small ones over 40 years ago) and cars, I've had three Accords and one S2000, I loved them all. I'm here because my current Accord just failed it's MOT it's a Mk 6 2001 Auto 2Litre SE, put it in and it passed everything until the brake test when the brake line burst and on inspection by the tester he found that the fuel lines were badly corroded as well as the brake pipe being badly corroded, the fuel line was leaking and sadly it appears that part or set of fuel lines is no longer available, so basically I'm in the position that my car is a write-off unless I can source the set of three fuel lines. …

Hello folks On Wednesday I pick up a '21 plater, 9,000 miles on the clock, formerly owned by Honda Management. I'm looking forward to acquisition, though I think those white snowflake wheel trims are quite THE most hideous I've ever seen. (I dub them 'Toy‐Town Twiddles'.) I'd be interested to hear from other owners as to how you fare driving over potholes as I gather the way it 'copes' with these particular obstacles is one of the car's weaker points... Is that your experience too?
