Does anyone know how to remove the mirror glass from wing mirror. Tried prying it from the bottom but didnt work unless it needs to be done with more force but didnt want to break it. Is there any clips that need releasing

Hello Just wanted to share my experience. 2006 Honda FR-V, 2.0L petrol. Started to get this code coming up. At first I ignored it for a while hoping it was a one-off (there was also another possibly unrelated fault as well that was also causing the yellow light to come on). I decided to investigate it so I had the mechanic reset it and within 15mins it had already come back on again, before I had even gone home. Seeing that the part from Honda costs around £150 I ordered this one from eBay and asked my mechanic to fit it. Two days later the light came back on again. I have a problem with fuel intake, the fuel pump is kicking in so I'm leaning toward a blockage but can't find any info online about frv's! Can anyone point me in the direction of the fuel filter please? 👍

Hi All FRV 1.8 2008 Petrol. My parking sensor just gives a contant tone/continous long beep when the reverse gear is engaged. All 4 sensors click when touched. Ive cleaned the seneors even though they werent dirty inc using wd40. Ive disconnected the battery for a bout 5-6 mins but still no joy. Any one have any suggestions what could be the cause? Or what i can do do fix it? Im not going to be able to take the rear bumper off or anything. Not sure where the control module is or how to access it? Thanks for any advice

I have a 2008 FR-V and have noticed that in city driving it holds on to lower gears longer than it used to. On the motorway at light throttle, the revs don't drop like they used to. Transmission oil has been replaced twice during the life of the car, though I doubt the transmission oil filter was replaced. Any suggestions as where to look are much appreciated.

My hand brake when disengaged the light stays on fiddle with handle goes it goes off hit a bump on it’s comes on with warning tone brake fluid ok pads shoes all new is there a sensor on the handbrake mechanism and how do I change it and it’s location any help would be appreciated

Recently got a fault code reader and I suspect it suggests there's an air leak in one of the intake/charge pressure pipes. It's a generic reader so provides generic code. Was wondering if this site has any resources/Wikis for things like Fault Codes, Fuse boxes, wiring diagrams etc? FYI Fault codes I have (if anybody can decipher): P2017 P1042 P1401 U0122

I have a 2006 1.7 FRV. The hand brake lever is fully out and will only return a couple of inches, when released. I have unbolted the assembly from under the dash, but there does not seem any access into the unit. When releasing the handle the cable to the adjuster under the seat does not move. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Hey Folks, Can anyone advise me on how to fix my 06 1.7ltrs petrol FRV radiotor in place. Was poking around the engine bay the other day and noticed the radiator is sitting loose, looks like some on doing repairs in the past never fixed all the screws back in place. Would anyone have pics or info on where/what screws/bolts should be holding the radiator in place?

As Per the title really, car was working fine until Saturday morning..occasionally over the last year or so on a handful of occasions had the passenger door failed to open. But a double press on the fob and we were all ok again. Friday it was fine, on Saturday morning however things did not go to plan. Went to open the car, and nothing on the passenger door unlocked and relocked the car with the fob multiple times, but still no good. I've managed to remove the interior door card, and get to the actuator but of course the whole thing is one effing sealed unit isn't it, and without being able to open the door I can't remove the bolts inside the door to remo…

Hi there, Any advice on the above? 2006 Honda FRV 2.2 crdi with 110000 miles. We have come back from a long journey and VSA and ABS lights suddenly came on. Not doing anything particular at the time. Drove the car a few miles, stopped and restarted it and the light went away. Drove normally, no problems but then this happened again several times. I knew we had a problem anyway with the brakes as pads were low by the time we got back and have had it at the garage for a caliper replacement on the rear offside wheel as well as new pads, which needed changing. Hi ,I have a 2005 honda frv 2.2ictdi. I have had her since new with no real problems. Recently she has developed a high pitch squealing sound that appears to be coming from the rear of the car . It only seems to be present when turning right ,and only when going above 15 mph. It is both embarassing and concerning . She has had a new link arm at the rear that did not solve it. Hi,first post here after owning an FRV for 7 years. All of a sudden when trying to open the door with fob the locks click open and shut again within a second. If quick enough you can open the door if timed right but that's it and the rest of the car stays shut,even locking you in the car until forcing the little lock part towards door to get out. Any ideas what the problem is? It did stop for a day or two then came back again

Hi I’ve a Honda FR-V 2.2 d , i have trouble some times with changing gear I have to pump the clutch pedal a few times and then all good,?? and my hand break light comes on and beeps have to pull out slightly and slide back in some times linked with above problem or if go over a bump like it’s lose ?? Hello I have a 2006 FR-V, 2.0l petrol. I have had to disconnect the battery to prevent it from being drained during the weeks that we are not using the car whilst waiting for an insurance claim and subsequent repair job to source replacement parts, etc. Is there anything I will likely need to do after reconnecting it, besides from resetting the time on the clock? I'm thinking in terms of security systems, radio codes, remote control pairing for the alarm/immobiliser etc? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer on this

Hi there! I have a bit of a weird problem where I could really use some advice. The rear left signal light of my 2005 FR-V stopped working after towing our caravan for a while. I think it was OK until we unhitched the caravan.
