CR-V 2011 to 2016

Hi All, I would greatly appreciate your collective wisdom here,today I swopped out a car battery on my 2016 crv, during the process I had a obd battery minder in line and all seemed to go well until I attempted to start the car, the car will only start with the key fob touching the starter button and also I have lost keyless entry and locking including power tail gate, radio and computer are working fine, I can't believe it's the battery's in the remote as both were working perfectly prior to car battery swop, any thoughts please. Hello, New to the group. I'm looking for some help, had my battery replaced which has now reset my radio and sat nav and looking for any help on how to source it. I've scrolled through youtube looking for answers but my model of stereo doesn't seem to be there. I have attached a picture of it. There is a card in the handbook with the serial number but no radio code. Any help is appreciated. Ross

Hi. I am hoping someone can shed some light on possible areas to check as I'm running out of ideas with water ingress into the boot space and collecting in spare wheel area. I've had roof rails off, rear lights out, rear bumper and towbar off. Cleaned all gutters and seals. Reapplied tiger seal to all factory seam culk and checked for visible holes. Siliconed every rubber grommet and screw/bolt hole and it is still tracking in somewhere. Car is stationary and will leak in. Even checked and cleaned rear arches, removing liners and cleaning inspecting all seams. Pretty much at a loss. Boot space door seal is not deformed and is not drawing in water via capillary action…

Hello Everyone, I have had an interesting, but annoying issue and was hoping if someone could held shed light on it. For the last 2 months, my CRV has been drifting to the left when the steering wheel is perfectly straight. I am not sure what caused it (I dont remember hitting a speed bump or kerb heavy). Here are some things I have had done, in this order, but with no success: Had a 4 wheel alignment done twice at Kwickfit. Hi I have a 2014 1.6 Diesel CRV 50K miles which wont start, when you unlock the car and get in put the key in the ignition and turn it on all the warning lights come up on the dashboard and after a couple of seconds the LCD display in the speedo starts displaying the the tyre deflation warning (at the same time an audible warning is sounding) for about three seconds then the auto stop start warning indicator starts flashing in its place. If you then try and start the car it just cranks over and over but it will not start at all!!?? Any ideas please??!!

Hi All, New to the Forum & hoping you good people on here can solve my issue. I purchased a 2015 Crv 1.6 I dtec AWD just over 2 years ago. It hasn't covered many miles in that time so I thought it would be a good idea to give it a service. Have completed the service I then tried to access the system to update the service maintenance. I have seen a few methods of accessing the maintenance info on YouTube & the like. I've tried accessing the system by the steering wheel/ Dash dimmer light & the touch screen but unfortunately I cannot access the system by these methods. Am I missing something? Or is there …

Its been almost 2 months and a 4 week honda dealership check with no results. I'm the owner of a 2015 crv 1.6 diesel ex navi. For the past 2 monts out of nowhere the starter icon turns on along with parking sensor, high beam and auto beam. Simultaneously the central locking, the seats,the a/c, the left side of the steering wheel and the driver's side buttons stop working. The alarm also turns on at the same time. This may go for 1 minute or a whole day. Honda dealer cannot identify the problem. Everything seems to working in order. Anyone else had something like this?

Hi folks, I have 2015 Crv and recently I can only get heat if I put it up to High. I usually have it around 20-22 but now the car is either roasting hot or cold. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Just noticed that my high level brake light has failed. Does anyone have any recommendations where to buy a decent one. I've seen Chinnese ones on Amazon for £20 or so but just asking peoples views,cheers.

Hi I have a Honda 2.2 diesel 2014 with 68,000 miles it needs a new clutch I am told by one Honda independent specialist that I should replace the flywheel when replacing the clutch, The dealership says it's unlikely to need replacing as they are generally fine does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi, My wiper blades need replacing. I have been through the manual but cannot find what size I should get, and I am getting different results from online sites. Some say the rear is 13" others 11". I have a 2013 CRV which has the 3 video connection sockets in the centre console (red, white and yellow). I take it this means I can play videos through the screen? I have connected a video cable to my phone but nothing happens. Any suggestions and if it's actually compatible?

Hello Everybody, Please forgive if this has been discussed before as did a quick search but couldnt find anything I have a 2014 2.2 Diesel manual CR-V and when setting of in first the clutch pedal sticks to the floor and the car then wants to go forwards on its own, the gear is also locked in place and have pull over using brakes to turn car off and then try pop the pedal back up, also does this in reverse but seems not to in 2nd or 3rd (not gone above 3rd as its pretty much undiveable now so didnt go far or fast. the car did this a couple of times in the middle of summer and a garage i took it to for a quick look had no idea, it then did…

HI, I have a 2010 CRV AERO which I am extremely pleased with. To cut a long story short, my front nearside Chrome strip ( don't know what to call it) which is unique to the Aero is hanging off. given the thing that holds it on is broken. I have contacted three dealers and 5 scrapyards without success, generally they don't know of the AERO or loose interest given the probable small sale value. I'm willing to pay well over the odds to get these two or three retainers that hold the strip, anyone any ideas, suggestions? 🙏🙏BW

Hi all, I've been looking for a nice CR-V for a while and at last one has turned up, but something I'm struggling to get in my head is a few apparently (to me) odd points, firstly there's a gap of about 2cm between the dashboard and the A pillar see pic no1, secondly the center dash clock looks like it's got screen burn, and finally the gear lever surround appears to have degraded at it's base, the car is a 2013 with only 48,000 miles, price wise it's £10,995 somehow I had higher expectations, any help appreciated, oh a HPI check comes back clear. I'm wondering if anyone can advise me. I'm about to purchase a 2014 CRV on Saturday. It's lovely, very low mileage & alcantara seats. But it doesn't come with a SatNav. I'd like to retrofit one. Can I buy a second hand unit from another 2014 CRv & put it in? Would it fit? Or would I be better off buying an infotainment system & have that installed instead? Tia

Honda Cr-V 2013 Won’t start…. all hell has broken out on the display relays clicking like a clam feeding festival. disconnected battery and it starts flashing again. added a full jump pack and no joy bought it from a local dealer in November and they can’t sort till 3rd January. in RAC but I am within 1 mile of my home and the insurance company did not give me home start… any ideas?please! Meant to be travelling to Kent from Cheshire for Christmas tomorrow!

Hi i have a 2014 crv that I’m having problems with, about 8 weeks ago I was driving down the moter way, lost power and my filter light and engine management light came on, took it to the Honda garage they replaced the filters and sent me on my way, never even made it home before my engine management light was on again, back into the garage the following day. They put stuff in the tank to clear it, 4 weeks later lights back on, back into garage, they couldn’t find a fault, stuff in tank again, never made it home again without the light coming on, replaced sensors that they thought it could of been, again the light came on after driving about 3 miles, they still can’t …

We have a '64 plate (UK) CR-V. It is the 1.6TDi version and the basic model with a basic CD/Radio with BT connection. It has been so reliable that I haven't had the need to be active on any forum. It has been the cheapest and most reliable motoring we have had in over 30 years. If I was to be critical I'd say the ride is a bit soft, the speaker/sound quality is iffy (at best) and the BT system is crap. The problem we are now having is that we are struggling to connect new Android phones to the system. Both are 2022/23 Oppo (same model). We have owned since 2015 and the BT system has not been updated. Is there …
