  1. Unless you can get the alignment altered to compensate for the UK camber and bias it slightly over one way? Otherwise, tyres may make a difference possibly?
  2. Halford always have a good stock and may be able to order one or even have something similar to fit as they just stick over the old broken mirror glass
  3. Makes sense as the German brands also did that around that era as there were court cases when anyone got trapped in the window going up
  4. Do they come through the audio system? If so, do you have the audio settings on fader getting more sound to the rear than the front?
  5. Not sure as its not available in the United Kingdom (so far)
  6. Hi Shelley Has any work been carried out on the car recently? ...and is the battery in good condition?
  7. I would start by looking at the bulbs in the trailer board If you have a wrong type of bulb then this can cause the problem
  8. Hi....welcoe to the Club Good to have you onboard!
  9. Trevor

    ROOF

I would take each component off individually and inspect then reassemble and see if that produces any results Time consuming but I'm sure you'll find a defect somewhere in there
  10. You sure it is not the wiring coming through from the roof to the tailgate that is broken Pull back the rubber boot that is surrounding the wiring and check the wires
  11. Some tyres can make a horrendous noise but it may also be the tyre profile that is picking up and transmitting more noise (e.g. lower profile tyres) Only way to determine is when you need new tyres you can search by noise ratings and try to find the lowest
  12. Is it possible to get it repaired (e.g. is it metal or plastic construction)?
  13. Try DemonTweeks as they tend to carry quite a range of cold air intake parts
  14. Thank Bazzer. was on holiday abroad for the Coronation but caught some of it on TV in between visits to the bar Hope you had a nice relaxing weekend?
  15. A quick eBay search is showing some rails but mainly cross bars https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=2004+honda+accord+roof+rails&_sacat=131090&LH_TitleDesc=0&rt=nc&Type=Roof%20Rail&_dcat=33651
  16. Rubbing back the affected area and filling possibly? As long as it is not within a certain distance from a structural part of the car and is not too large then this repair should be acceptable
  17. My main concern in what you have described is the high pitch wining noise .... this could be an indicator of the problem Do you know roughly where the noise is coming from?
  18. The results once the alignment has been done are in fact fine. They weren't and that would have caused the veering
  19. Maybe the fault code is still logged and needs erasing. I would drop it back to the garage that fitted it clear the code
  20. I would be tempted to fit a secondhand lock and key but will require two keys to be used for the vehicle Otherwise would be a shame to get shot of it for a simple (and low cost) repair
  21. I would go on the assumption that it has two but in 2001 I suspect it may only be one fitted
  22. Hi Matt.....welcome to the Club What a superb motor and don't see many of them on the roads nowadays Great to have you onboard!
  23. SatNav disc stores on the internet, plenty of them and cheap But still quite old maps but probably newer than you have already
  24. Did you buy it from a Honda dealer? Would recommend taking to the Honda dealer for these functions to be activated with their diagnostic platform.
  25. There are plenty of SatNav disc stores on the net and most offer replacement discs (albeit a little bit out of date but certainly newer than you have)
