  1. Hi, We own a 2009 Honda Crv EX 2.2 diesel car for a year now. A couple of months back we've noticed the car battery went dead twice on us so we decided to invest in a new one. To our surprise 2 weeks later the new one went dead too! So we swapped the old battery (thankfully didn't get rid of it!) and charged up the new one (also double checking nothing had been left on inside the car). After 3 days when opening the car door, I strangely saw the sat Nav fascia was stuck half open (like it had a power surge) and low and behold, battery dead again. All becoming a bit like groundhog day now, so decided to get it booked in with the mechanics for the f…

Just had my 2.2 i de-tec Honda civic re- mapped to stage 2. OMG what a difference. My Civic now goes like a bat out of hell got to hold on tight. plus MPG is so much better when driving sensibly, getting around 55/58 MPG, and also its alot smoother and responsive. has any one else had a re-map done, and with what results. Re-map was carried out by Celtic Tuning in Newquay Cornwall.

Since buying my Jazz in Feb I have had issues with my front windows making a clicking/rattling noise. The first was the drivers side which I took back to my local honda dealer who repaired it (which was in March).A few weeks ago I noticed the passenger side had the same problem.Having taken it back again to be fixed I was told that Honda head office has stopped repairing/fixing windows. They won't do it because their excuse is "It is the characteristics of the car".What a load of bull...t.Strangely enough when I took the car in on the first occasion there was another guy there who had booked in with the same problem!!! My views of honda have now gone down considerably if th…

Hi, I am a new model Jazz owner, which I bought in the summer. As part of the deal, the dealer insisted that I took out some of their extra insurances, one of which was repairs to cosmetic alloy wheel damage insurance. Now I know from experience how easy it is to scuff alloys and it wasn’t too expensive, so I agreed. Anyway unfortunately we did manage to scuff a wheel on a curb, but then I thought, no worries, I have the insurance. I got in touch, had approval for the repair and the guy turned up as agreed. So far so efficient. However, as the repair guy apologetically pointed out to me, the silver bits on my smart black and silver alloys are in fact not alloy at all but …

I decided after checking how to access the washer bottle and seek out the leak from the near side headlight washer to leave well alone, however the dribble from the washer down the bodywork started to leave a white mark and annoy me. The dribble was coming from the spray hole and I tried to clean with a pin to see if it was the problem but to no avail. I have now sorted it!! A little bit of Blu Tack stopped it however I didn't like the sight of it so with a bit of trimming of a rubber grrommet and then pushed into the Blu Tack you can hardly tell!! Bodgit alive and well here!!!

Can anyone tell me if the spare wheel well will hold a standard road wheel as I am interested in buying a 2012 Jazz which is up north and it does not come with a spare instead a pump and a can of sealant from new they say,as I intend to do a bit of mileage and would prefer the old fashion spare and would like it to fit in the well and not be too high. Thanks in advance AJ

I picked up my first ever Honda two weeks ago - 2016 1.6 idtec EX. I have noticed that there is a clutch judder when pulling away or if moving slowly in traffic. My last 4 cars have been auto boxes so I first thought it may be my driving style but after a few days I got my son to try it and he too felt that the clutch didn’t feel right. I took it back to the dealer (main Honda franchise) who I bought it from and said I thought there was an issue with the clutch. They tested it and said there was a “slight” judder on clutch engagement but it was “within acceptable limits”. They also stated that it is typical for a CR-V due to the design of the clutch and DMF so conseque…

  12. Hi. I've recently purchased a 2007 FRV automatic petrol and at around 60mph from the off side front A pillar area I am getting like a buzzing/wind noise from around that area. I've removed the trim and driven it again and it is still there so not a trim issue. It must be speed related as it does not happen below that speed on all types of road surfaces. Is there any issues with the windscreen seal or A pillar window seal. It sounds like it's by the air bag area. Any ideas would be great. Many thanks and stay safe.

Hello I'm thinking about getting a code reader / scanner. Can anyone offer any advice about what to get or what to look for, or perhaps recommend a particular model? I don't want to spend a fortune but would be interested to know what options there are and what you get for paying a bit more?

Hi I have a Honda Civic 1907 brilliant car 👍 but there’s a problem with the electrics at the moment and I don’t know which route to go to get it fixed. It was suggested to me to try this forum as a start. Basically on the dashboard the clock is only partly lit up, a lot of the time the windscreen wipers at times have a mind of their own and so does my key fob-which will work one day but not the next! Has anybody else had this problem? thankyou In anticipation ☺️

Hi All, Had an expensive week , on Monday booked in for MOT It passed no problem £ 50.00, on Wednesday noticed the ABS & VAS Lights on the dash were on all the time took it to the Garage they did a check and found out the Rear Wheel Sensor needed replacing ,this was done for £ 94.00, then the ABS Lights came on again and a shuddering when braking, this was found to be caused by a worn Rear Wheel Bearing, so back to the Garage again had this replaced and fixed £ 160.00 , so a weeks bill of £ 304.00 + vat . a lot of dosh but at least it done, the steering is 100% better and no Christmas lights on the Dash, apparently all of these faults according to the Dealer are…

Hi I have a 2009 CRV ES1-CTDi and want to upgrade the Sat Nav Radio CD unit to one that has Blue Tooth hands free capability. Can anyone recommend a reliable source with reasonable prices.I have looked on e-bay but the only one I can see is nearly £600 and it doesn't give any dimensions so not sure it would fit the dash board. Any help appreciated. Tony
