CR-V 2007 to 2011

hi ive a new crv and the sat navs terrible , its fully up to date so my dealership said, but its got me on the a1 (major motorway)nr catterick driving in a field ! , it also tells me to turn left or right but the road only bends to the l or r ! does any one else have issues with theirs ? my little stick on window tom tom from halfords is wayyyyyyy better graphics quality and instructions and seems more upto date , any help as realy disappointed with this sat nav, cheers Sean

Hi all, Looking for a bit of help. Has anyone fitted running boards ? I have a second hand set of genuine Honda parts and I have downloaded the fitting instructions which seems fairly straightforward. What I don’t have are the templates required to enable me to cut out access holes for the fitting brackets in the plastic underside panels. Can anyone help with this please, much appreciated Rob

I recently bought a 2016 CR-V and after about a month of owning the vehicle the Check Engine Light illuminated on the dash. I took it to a local garage who read the code and told me the problem was the Bank 1 Sensor 1 had low voltage. They said they took it and and gave it a quick clean and cleared the code which seemed to fix the problem for about a week or so. After the light came back on a week later I assumed I'd need to replace the sensor. I've had a look at the code on the sensor in the car and it reads 36531-RZ0-G02 - 281004566. Everywhere i look online is telling me this model number is incompatible with my vehicle and the correct part is actually 36531-RZ0-G01 …

My 120,000 mile diesel crv on a 58 plate has developed a creeky clutch pedal when letting the pedal off/up. Honda want to change the whole pedal assembly, but i did hear there was a plastic bush assembly kit to basically re- seat the springs !! ?? Would appreciate any advise Regards Phil

Good Morning Folks. I'm getting a clicking noise occasionally about 3 secs after I pull away on my auto CRV. My garage can't replicate the issue but say there is some play in one of the front drive shafts. They are saying that none of the motor factors they use carry them and it would have to be direct from Honda £725.00. They did find somewhere that recon them but they are dubious that they can get the parts to recon it if they send it to them. As the click is only minor at the moment and they cannot confirm that it is that I'm going to wait till it gets worse to confirm it is that and not a wheel bearing maybe. My 2009 2L petrol CRV has just had a new serpentine belt fitted by the local independent garage I have used and trusted with all my cars, BUT I think its been fitted incorrectly in that the flat side of the belt is riding on the ribs of the AirCon pulley. I am going to take it back and get it checked. My question is where can I find a diagram of how it should be routed? I've looked everywhere on the internet and can only find US spec ones and diesel ones with the power steering pump of course I don't have!

Hi, I have a 2011 CR-V. Lately it has been juddering (felt mainly through the steering wheel and also down by the pedals) when either on a full lock turn, whether forward or reversing, or an almost-full lock turn both in forward and reverse. I am very concerned at the safety aspect of this, as well as clearly annoyed that it could happen. Any help with what this might be; how serious; and what might need doing would be appreciated... I've recently purchased a 2007 2.0 EX petrol, which has a dirty lump of sponge stuck inside the fuel flap (photo attached). Is this standard, or has a previous owner added this for some reason? It's not something I've had on any other car I've owned.

Good morning everyone. I was hoping someone could tell me what this part is that seems to be hanging down from the underside of my car. I just wanted to check first before I went to the garage so that I know what they should be fixing or not. Sorry but i've had a couple of bad experiences with garages so I would really appreciate any advice. There was a tiny pool of water that came out of this bit that's hanging down so I'm baffled. Hi, for the last few weeks every time I break there is a squeeling/crunching noise when I brake. The brakes were done 7 months ago. I noticed today that I've been driving for the last few weeks with the a/c on so I turned it off and now the brakes are making very little noise. Is there any way that the a/c was causing it? Please can anyone help. On my car are 225/60 r18 100h m+s tyres and on the car it says the pressure should be 30 front and back but on the tyre it says 40psi. Please can anyone let me know what I should set the tyres at. I do some caravan towing so will that make a difference. Thank you.

Just purchased a 14 plate CR V and I've noticed the air vents on the back of the center arm vest are not moving. Is it an easy job to remove these vents? Thanks .

Hi Everyone I am Australian living in Sweden and have no forums up here and wanted to ask some advice I have a 2015 CR-V Auto 9 speed diesel,about 40000kms on the clock I have called a number of dealers here with no one knowing an answer The issue is the vehicle wont go into park by pushing the park button,only when you turn the motor off Have tried pushing brakes harder disconnecting the battery ,moving gears manually etc Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was the issue Many thanks for any answers Rgs

Hi I purchased a 2009 crv 2.2 cdti. 118000 miles on the clock with service history. Clutch was replaced 2 years ago. I have a problem when i change gear from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 2nd, the car shudders, then goes, every other gear is fine and clutch doesnt seem to slip. The rear diff has been flushed out and refilled as it needed it. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks Richie

I find the stock headlight (halogen) on my 2029 Civic quite dim, and I'm looking at replacing the bulbs with LED type. Does anyone have any experience/ recommendations etc. as to which make or type? - or any to avoid? I imagine nowadays the new bulbs are plug 'n play? Any before/after pictures - and if its worth it?!

Hi guys. I'm hopeful that someone may be able to offer some advice regarding dashboard warning lights. I've only had the car a couple of weeks and am loving it! Last week the tyre warning light came on so I took to the manual to see what the problem is? From what I read it informs of a tyre losing some pressure. So I checked all tyres and put the correct amount into each one, but the warning light is still on, and remains on some days later. I was wondering what if anyone had experienced this and could point me in the right direction? Hope to hear from someone soon. best regards

received letter from Honda saying my 2007 CRV 2.2 ICTDI to have airbags replaced they state they have written to me previously but i have never had any letter and only had the vehicle 8 months so booked appointment the AA are coming out to the work but not until 10th of Jan 2022 they must be busy, not sure which airbags or how long that will take. anyone had the same issue?

Hi, I have a 2007 diesel crv with a fitted tow bar. Went to attach my trailer yesterday and there seems to be a problem with the electrics. Can someone tell me where the fuse may be for the tow bar so i can check this first. The tow bar has been working up to this point so hoping its something simple. Thank Paul

I have just bought a second hand 2016 1.6 automatic AWD. When cold the gears from 1st to 2nd is slow to change and even throws me forward because I’m expecting the car to change. However when warmed up, it changes ok. I have searched and found that some advice is to change the transmission fluid? I took it to my local dealer and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it, but did advise to change the oil in the transmission. plus how much would this cost? £330 from one garage and £90 from another. They did however update a couple of software updates and charged me £85 for looking at my car and the updates. Is that to be expected from updating the software? …
