Hi All, newbie here, I have a 13 plate CRV SR, all good for the last 18mts, last Friday fuse15 blew, replaced all good, till today. No turn or hazards, checking the fuse its good?, helpppppp, have tried to locate relay but not found. Call to garage says its an MICU issue???? , also today the message on dash said battery can't sustain stop start, but put that down to very little driving as Covid has locked us down. Have checked bulbs and led in mirrors they are all good and dry. Any help assistance would be welcomed Darryl

2009 crv drive it one day, leave it a day, not enough charge to start the car. Changed battery no different. Need to charge battery day before we use it. Advice please.

Hi, I've had my crv about a year and so it's servicing should be due about now. I'm not sure if my crv has variable servicing and tells you via the dash when various parts need replacing. I can seem to find anywhere on the dash to say if it's been switched on or not, does anyone know where I can find out? Also does anyone know where you can find a servicing schedule if it's not, the manual just lists what needs changing for non european models.

Hello, First post here. I'll introduce myself fully but I need to get this sorted. Had my CR-V for about a year and I'm loving it. On Saturday the Car cut out while stopped in traffic. All electrics went so no hazards or steering. After 5-10 minutes it all powered back up and started as if nothing had happened. It then happened again on Tuesday night when I pulled into my drive. 11 minutes timed this time. Then restarted. I've had it with an auto-electrician today. No errors showing. Hi, I have a 2007 diesel crv with a fitted tow bar. Went to attach my trailer yesterday and there seems to be a problem with the electrics. Can someone tell me where the fuse may be for the tow bar so i can check this first. The tow bar has been working up to this point so hoping its something simple. Thank Paul

Hi everyone had my 07 CR-V for a few months now and have just noticed the rear end has dropped both sides equal and only just missing the tyres drives fine no shakes or bangs haven’t had a chance to get under it yet but any ideas? cheers

I left the lights on on my 2006 CRV petrol manual and flattened the battery. I took the battery out and recharged it. On reconnecting the battery the alarm went off almost continuously but didnt go off when I plipped the key fob and in fact nothing seemed to turn the alarm off, manual locking and unlocking doors, operating central locking manually or by key fob etc and the alarm carried on going for 20 mins or so. I could start and drive the car so the immobiliser wasnt acting. The alarm would then stop and restart every 10 mins or so untill I disconnected the battery. on reconnecting the alarm would go off at random times even whilst driving?? It has settled down a bit …

I have a 2015 CRV and a few weeks ago I did a reboot of the HFT to resolve a reversing camera issue and the Android updated. I now cannot change the time in the Settings menu as all the options are greyed out. Can anyone help with this issue please?

My air con is not working and wondered if anybody out there has a contact who could repair this problem for me? The fans are working but there is no cold air coming through the vents. Local garage attempted to repair but claim the unit is broken and will need to be replaced. I have checked with the local garage following a recent service and they quoted close to £500 to replace the unit, this is money I dont have currently following redundancy in 2020.

Hi, I am new to this site and this is my first post. Although I have been driving for 25+ years I am a total novice when it involves anything more than the aesthetics of a car. So I would greatly appreciate any advice please. I have recently purchased a 2009 Honda CR-V i-CTDI which I'm really happy with. However I need to replace an interior bulb above the rear view mirror. I have removed the non working Festoon bulb which states 'Kelly 12v 8w' on it but I am having real difficulty in sourcing a new bulb. All I can find are 12v 10w Festoon bulbs and I am concerned they may do damage to the car. I did look at LED bulbs but again they are only 10w and I've he…

Good morning everyone. I was hoping someone could tell me what this part is that seems to be hanging down from the underside of my car. I just wanted to check first before I went to the garage so that I know what they should be fixing or not. Sorry but i've had a couple of bad experiences with garages so I would really appreciate any advice. There was a tiny pool of water that came out of this bit that's hanging down so I'm baffled. Hi guys n gals. This must've been asked a million times but can't find the answer. I have a 2008 CRV and the sat nav software disc I have is software version 2.30.00 , database version 3.33 which is 2008-09 , What is the latest version software available for my system please?

Both my ignition keys are now difficult to put into ignition slot. A little lubricant hasn't made any difference. I think both keys might be worn out as the second less used key is now playing up some 18 months after swapping over. Be grateful for any advice on what i should do. Regards Phil

The Haynes/Clymer/Chilton manuals are written for the American models with 1,8 and 2,4 engines but I suspect your UK models are similar to our SA models.

Hi everyone i have just reserved my 2013 CR-V 2.2 dtec to collect next weekend. It has 55,000miles on the clock. FSH I just wanted to ask a few questions to be prepared for when I collect it. - if there anything I should be checking for with that sort of mileage that should have been done or any issues? - is there any work that will be due to be done at that mileage? I believe these are chain driven?(correct me if I’m wrong). But anything else? - finally the dealer is offering 3 months warranty as standard but with the option to increase to 12 months RAC warranty. Is this worth the paper it’s written on? At £300 extra. Hi I’m having issues with the brakes on my 2010 crv, hoping someone might be able to shed some light as to what to look at. When braking the pedal goes straight to the board with little or no resistance, it slowly brakes. If I pump the brake in preparation to brake then I get resistance and it brakes sooner. Brake pipes have been checked for leaks, fluid is ok, mechanic isn’t sure what to try next, he’s thinking master cylinder on the servo or abs pump so I’m trying to help him do a bit of research to see if either have any particular problems or if it’s possibly something else. Has anyone experienced this problem before? All help and advice appreciated thanks

Just purchased a 14 plate CR V and I've noticed the air vents on the back of the center arm vest are not moving. Is it an easy job to remove these vents? Thanks .

Hi guys, Looking for some help. I've just noticed my 3rd brake light isn't working, looks like it is full of moisture so will probably need replacing. The brake light is fitted to a spoiler and no the actual boot door itself. I've had a look online at how to remove them but not had any luck finding anything showing how to remove it from a spoiler. Has anyone had any experience of changing these out. Thanks

Looking into an automatic CR-V for covering approx 6-8k miles in a year. Generally, Diesels are not recommended for regular short runs (DPF issues) so the petrol model seems to be a better fit. Reviews in various places seem to suggest that the 2.0 petrol engine is the one to avoid. Lack of power is quoted as an issue and economy is not great either but is it really that bad? I'm not after high performance, just a reliable and comfortable family motor. Do you own one? What do you like/dislike about it? Any pointers/advice is most welcome.

Hi , starting issue. 2010 2.2 diesel Replaced glow plugs . Replaced glow plug relay. Obd fault code says glow plug control unit. Not a clue whereabouts it's mounted as took long enough finding relay.. Any clues or pictures of it. Many thanks
