Not sure if this is a good place to put this. I have been leasing several Jazz over the last decade with Motability. I got a Jazz HEV+ last year. This my first automatic and first hybrid. The onboard driver assist is annoying as f***. It keeps trying to stop me from overtaking parked cars on empty roads. I can turn it off, but it turns back on as soon as I restart the car. I had to top up the tyres. The deflation warning system message said I needed to initialise it. I looked in the owners guide. I could not find anything about it. Honda Jazz EX CVT 2012. Display shows 26.9 mpg whereas if i remember correctly, the car should be doing 40mpg officially and unofficially, 35mpg around town. Only had the car for about a month. Car has done 36k with full Honda service history. Car was serviced in March this year but i checked the air filter anyway and its looks like new. Also checked tyre pressures and coolant & oil level and mass air flow sensor. It has been bitterly cold but will be surprised if mpg falls this low due to this. I purchased a spacesaver wheel for the wifes 2012 Jazz which had 15" wheels. We have just changed the wifes Jazz for a 2018 model which has 16" wheels. The salesman at the Honda garage insisted I didn't have to buy a new spare wheel as the one purchased for the earlier vehicle would fit the new one. Can this be right as the wheel sizes are different?

Has anyone encountered the following on the new hybrid? 1) If the car isn't driven at least every other day the clock is slow by a specific number of minutes and doesn't correct itself until the car has been driven for at least 30 minutes. 2) The radio on/off button intermittently does not work. One day you press the button and the radio will turn off, next day it doesn't. 3) This message appears when car has just started in motion 'this function is not available when the car is in motion'. Pleased with my 2019 Jazz, very roomy and easy to drive. Looked in the boot and it has a compressor and sealant, no spare, no jack or wrench. Not a problem, but I would rather have a spare so I went out and got a used Jazz space saver, jack & wrench It fits in the wheel well easily but even though it's a slim 135 stands proud of the floor a bit......I can live with that. Honda seem to have deleted the tapped hole so no point in buying the clamp to hold it down. One thing that surpised me was this spare is claimed to be suitable for Jazz cars with 15" & !6" wheels, mine are 15" and the overall tyre diameter of this spare is smaller than my other tyres. Th…

Hi trying to service my 2012 Jazz 1.4 i-vtec, when agent inputs reg it shows as manual when is automatic, need to know what oil to put in auto gearbox & how much, also being quoted £75 for spark plugs which seems expensive, are they special? Any help much appreciated Regards Rob.

Just placed my Newbie comment in the wrong group- mine's a 2013 so have to revamp my comment. Handbook is 20mm thick and covers all the models in the range but looking at the section on the 'Information Display' is a bit of a headache and setting it up appears tricky. Hi all. Currently thinking about buying (our first) Honda. Moving from a Ford Focus, which was very enjoyable but in the end had some reliability issues. Hearing the stories of bulletproof reliability of Hondas so keen on one. I've been looking around for an MK3 Jazz (not rushing - would probably buy some time early next year), with a CVT - ideally 2018 onwards (we do only about 2.5-3k miles a year so a relatively high mileage is not an issue as long as it is in good condition and well priced). Hi We have a 59 reg 2009/2010 Honda Jazz. Literally never gone wrong. I’ve replaced the tyres and the battery 2 years ago. Today it died. It doesn’t appear to be the battery as we tried to jump start it. I’m calling the AA out tomorrow but they may charge £99 to come out. Only strange thing that’s happened is both our keys have been playing up, I thought mine was running out of battery or something. But I didn’t know my partners was also doing the same. Any suggestions before calling AA out as money is a bit tight at the moment? Thanks in advance G

2016 Honda Jazz - twice the drivers side rear footwell filled with liquid. Thinks its smells like screen wash fluid. Each time the screen wash reservoir emptied far quicker than I expected. Only seems to happen after I' ve used rear screen wash. Any of you people experienced this? After the first occasion I tried Utube and used fresh mastic to seal the plastic sheet in side the adjacent door and pocked clean the drain holes but no luck. Soaked carpet, underlay/sound deadening and floor pan recess. Second time I tested the one way valve found in the hatch door shut. Air from a tyre pump flows freely one way but not the other. This is not a usual occurrance but applicable more to cold weather motoring. At present all is well, but as I am making few long trips out I am a trifle jittery about there being tne morning when the car just clonks and no start (presume warning lights all absent). Hona owners manual states remove battery to charge. But in the situations in the past have always connected charging leads to the battery in situ taking care to connect in the correct sequence. Any reason why I can't continue this way? I' m elderly and its a bit of a struggle to lift it out.

I have just purchased a2018 SE Jazz and in the course of going through the various functions om the Multi information display I have inadvertently changed the language from English to German. and can't seem to be able to change it back to English. Any help would be appreciated

A couple of queries about auto Jazz 2009. Are there any issues with these auto boxes, CVT I understand? The width given in the Honda info seems wide a bit wide at just over 2.0m does that include the mirrors? Is the 82hp auto model seriously underpowered or just a little low on zip? Hi all, I purchased a Honda Jazz (2015 - 65 plate) last year in June. It is a 1.3 SE which has basic start/stop plus lane warning and a few other bits. We have seen the start/stop activate on a few occasions but for the last 3 months or so we have noticed when you pop in neutral and release the clutch, the start/stop symbol appears on the dash with a battery symbol next to it. We generally make short trips since lockdown and was wondering if that was the problem. We have in recent weeks done a few 10-15 mile trips and still no start/stop. I have recently bought a 2017 Jazz despite Honda reputation for build quality whilst my wife whilst closied the tailgate the plastic facia with the Honda logo on it split. has anyone else had this problem.?
