Hi All, New to the forum here, but am looking for a little help, just wondering who can tell me what's missing from the passenger side (behind the front bumper) My CRV (2015 MkIV I-Dtec 1.6 SE-T) took a bit of a knock to the O/S and the pics below are a result of the damage, can anyone let me know what's missing as parts weren't with the car when I collected from towing company. Looks to be either a A/C Condenser or Turbo Intercooler but there appears to be something missing from in front of it. Greetings all from Northern Ireland - hope you can help. My CRV is, at the moment, broken down, and has been for most of the last month. It's a 2007 2.2 Cdti with 160000 miles and just suddenly stopped working, with all the dash lights flashing. I've had a diagnostic technician out, but he couldn't get the car to communicate with his equipment, though it did start and run for 3 days after he had been. It's very frustrating, to say the least. I think that it's something electrical - the cam chain is fine, no noise when running, and it has a new clutch and flywheel, which is why I'm loathe to give up on it. Anyone come across this before? Hi all, i noticed last night that the clock on my 2007 ictdi 2.2 series 3 started to have a mind of its own and as started to display differant times despite having reset everything its fine until the ignition is on or engine started strange that this as just come about as we go into 2022 may be related?? any idea's welcome.

Hi, Have managed to link my Android phone to my 2016 CRV so can send & receive phone calls ok, however when using Google Maps on the phone I cannot hear the navigation instructions. Is there a setting within the infotainment system that I need to enable to achieve this please ? Thanks

As owners of a 2013 CRV, we are looking to purchase 2 electric bikes and need to find a way to transport them. They would each weight 24 kgs. As we tow a caravan and want to take the bikes with us we cannot use a tow ball fitting carrier. Would prefer a rear vehicle option but are having difficulty finding a suitable one. Have seen roof mounted options but as these bikes are quite heavy a) they seem to be too heavy for the roof bars and b) as we are not getting any younger we are not sure we would be able to lift them anyway. Wondering if anyone else has come across this and has found an answer.

Hi I purchased a 2009 crv 2.2 cdti. 118000 miles on the clock with service history. Clutch was replaced 2 years ago. I have a problem when i change gear from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 2nd, the car shudders, then goes, every other gear is fine and clutch doesnt seem to slip. The rear diff has been flushed out and refilled as it needed it. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks Richie

hi ive a new crv and the sat navs terrible , its fully up to date so my dealership said, but its got me on the a1 (major motorway)nr catterick driving in a field ! , it also tells me to turn left or right but the road only bends to the l or r ! does any one else have issues with theirs ? my little stick on window tom tom from halfords is wayyyyyyy better graphics quality and instructions and seems more upto date , any help as realy disappointed with this sat nav, cheers Sean

Hi everyone. Just acquired an 08 CRV ES which has the all in one Audio and sat nav screen. Unfortunately for present day usage its pretty pants as there is no Bluetooth and while the car does have some bluetooth again its not up to current standards. There is also no Aux jack point but it does have a handy PCMCIA slot (whoever used that?). Anyway I have been looking at some plug in thro the 12v socket type of unit that you tune to the radio and Ive no doubt that they would work but in reality I would like to fit whloe new head/unit that would bring the car up to modern day standards. Has anyone out there done this type of thing and is it worthwhile…

what is the recommended oil for a 2007 i-ctdi i keep seeing 0-20 0-30 5-30 fully synthetic i can understand 0-20 0r 030 on a newish model but when a vehicle as done 140,000 miles plus i would have thought 5-30 would be a better option, advice welcome.

Hi folks. Bought an 07 CR V 2.2 i cdti. It's got Full Service and 147k on it. Hellish obvious Turbo Siren noise at around 2.5rmp and more. I'm hoping to check for Oil Starvation to the Turbo? It runs amazingly well. Boost great and goes like a small rocket. Or has anyone got any other ideas? I had the exact same noise on an Alfa Romeo 159 a few years ago and the turbo bearings whent resulting in a cloud of black smoke. Any advice on what I can check on the drive? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone replaced/cleaned the EGR valve on the 2.2 DTEC engine? It looks like an absolute **** of a job. Can it be done from the top or does the exhaust need to come off? Its a rusty mess that will end up with sheared bolts if I even look at them the wrong way!

Hi, I have a 2011 CR-V. Lately it has been juddering (felt mainly through the steering wheel and also down by the pedals) when either on a full lock turn, whether forward or reversing, or an almost-full lock turn both in forward and reverse. I am very concerned at the safety aspect of this, as well as clearly annoyed that it could happen. Any help with what this might be; how serious; and what might need doing would be appreciated... I've recently purchased a 2007 2.0 EX petrol, which has a dirty lump of sponge stuck inside the fuel flap (photo attached). Is this standard, or has a previous owner added this for some reason? It's not something I've had on any other car I've owned.

I am hoping someone can help me please, I have a 2012 Honda CRV and I have a DPF light with exclamation mark on, RAC said the car has already done a regeneration and doesn’t need a forced regeneration but the computer hasn’t realised and turned the warning light off. Has any one had any experience of this and any solutions. I took it for a DPF diagnostic and they said the light went off but came back on instantly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello all. I have a question that is causing me problems. My 2007 Honda crv 2.2cdti is not holding charge. I can take it on a long run during the day and the next morning it wont start. I then charge the battery for around 10 mins and all OK again. I have had the battery and alternator checked and they are both in great condition but something is draining the battery. Please can anyone suggest what it might be. Thank you.
