Hi, I 'm trying to replace the AWD relay, as described in Honda service bulletin 15-012, but cannot see how to remove the left interior boot panel (see attached photo). It seems to be a single enormous piece of plastic, but apart from a single clip on the bottom edge I can't locate any other visible screws or clips. Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks.

Hi everyone. Just acquired an 08 CRV ES which has the all in one Audio and sat nav screen. Unfortunately for present day usage its pretty pants as there is no Bluetooth and while the car does have some bluetooth again its not up to current standards. There is also no Aux jack point but it does have a handy PCMCIA slot (whoever used that?). Anyway I have been looking at some plug in thro the 12v socket type of unit that you tune to the radio and Ive no doubt that they would work but in reality I would like to fit whloe new head/unit that would bring the car up to modern day standards. Has anyone out there done this type of thing and is it worthwhile…

Hi. I have a 2007 CRV and the radio reception is terrible. Does the car have a radio signal amplifier? Is there anyway of boosting the signal or could my aerial be damaged in anyway? Can anybody suggest how to improve signal or how to get to the wiring in the roof to check?

I have a 2013 CRV, occasional the warning light for the stop start illuminates on start up, goes off again shortly after driving off, I’ve also noticed the stop start will operate with the clutch peddle lifted to 3/4 of the way, if foot is taken off the clutch peddle the engine restarts whilst still in neutral. Since this has started cruise control also is playing up. Sometimes it operates others it doesn't. Could they be linked Regards Martin

Engine management light has appeared with a severe loss of acceleration/power, even when pedal is on the floor, it is still struggling to get above 20mph or into any significant revs. Any one encountered a similar issue and what was the issue with it?

Greetings all from Northern Ireland - hope you can help. My CRV is, at the moment, broken down, and has been for most of the last month. It's a 2007 2.2 Cdti with 160000 miles and just suddenly stopped working, with all the dash lights flashing. I've had a diagnostic technician out, but he couldn't get the car to communicate with his equipment, though it did start and run for 3 days after he had been. It's very frustrating, to say the least. I think that it's something electrical - the cam chain is fine, no noise when running, and it has a new clutch and flywheel, which is why I'm loathe to give up on it. Anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am hoping for any advice on the Sat Nav fault I have. I recently bought a 2014 CRV for my wife. It came with a Sat Nav built in and initially worked perfectly. However for the past few weeks it does not work at all. On starting the car there is a notice on the screen advising that there is a problem with the GPS and provides certain steps to take. I have tried all these steps ( area with good signal, remove phones, etc) bar taking the car to the dealership. Not having the Sat Nav isn't the biggest problem, this notice on the screen does not go away and is therefore blocking all the other features - Bluetooth, set the clock, radio stations etc. It is extremely disapp…

Hi I previously had a 2.2 I-DTEC Ex prior to buying my current car (Volvo XC60 D5) and am potentially looking at coming back to Honda in the guise of an 18 plate 1.6 I-DTEC EX. I have a couple of general questions if you folks would be kind enough to help: 1 - I haven't yet driven a 1.6 so how do they compare performance wise to the 2.2? 2 - Any particular issues that I need to look for in the car? 3 - It has the Garmin Sat Nav - are the maps user upgradeable or dealer only? 4 - Can I install Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Any other pointers would be most welcome. Thank you.

Hi all I hope somebody can assist. Mr vehicle had a fire and went for a repair in a city 600km from my home. I have been ripped off and am now considering my options to diy the reassembly. I will be replacing the engine but since I will be starting with a stripped down vehicle I would greatly appreciate a step by step guide for installing and refitting. Thank you in advance.

Can anybody recommend a source for a good service/repair/workshop manual for my South African 2014 CR-V 2.0 litre petrol A/T RHD FWD with R20A engine ? The Haynes/Clymer/Chilton manuals are written for the American models with 1,8 and 2,4 engines but I suspect your UK models are similar to our SA models.

Hi all, Looking for a bit of help. Has anyone fitted running boards ? I have a second hand set of genuine Honda parts and I have downloaded the fitting instructions which seems fairly straightforward. What I don’t have are the templates required to enable me to cut out access holes for the fitting brackets in the plastic underside panels. Can anyone help with this please, much appreciated Rob

Hi All, New to the forum here, but am looking for a little help, just wondering who can tell me what's missing from the passenger side (behind the front bumper) My CRV (2015 MkIV I-Dtec 1.6 SE-T) took a bit of a knock to the O/S and the pics below are a result of the damage, can anyone let me know what's missing as parts weren't with the car when I collected from towing company. Looks to be either a A/C Condenser or Turbo Intercooler but there appears to be something missing from in front of it. Image 1: this is the connection, with nothing to connect to. also, need to replace the frame holding the ?intercooler? anyone have any pa…

Just bought myself a 2007 crv. Only fault is the stereo, only playing through the tweeters and nothing else. Think we've narrowed it down enough to establish that it's the stereo itself that's buggered. Looking for advise on replacing it with one with sat nav but a little dubious about an eBay aftermarket one, anybody got any recommendations?

Hi I'm new to this forum and just need some advice on what I know is a common CRV problem, the rear diiferential. My car is a 2008 petrol automatic, 92,000 miles. I've only owned the car for 7 months, it has a nearly full Honda service history. I had the car serviced at a local Honda dealer four months ago and asked them about the lumpy idling and slight graunch after I've reversed off my drive on full lock and then heard the noise just as I pull away. They said the car behaved like any other CRV and there was no issue. After looking on the internet I realised what the problem was and got a trusted local garage to change (and hopefully flush) the r…

Hi guys. I'm hopeful that someone may be able to offer some advice regarding dashboard warning lights. I've only had the car a couple of weeks and am loving it! Last week the tyre warning light came on so I took to the manual to see what the problem is? From what I read it informs of a tyre losing some pressure. So I checked all tyres and put the correct amount into each one, but the warning light is still on, and remains on some days later. I was wondering what if anyone had experienced this and could point me in the right direction? Hope to hear from someone soon. best regards

Hello, First post here. I'll introduce myself fully but I need to get this sorted. Had my CR-V for about a year and I'm loving it. On Saturday the Car cut out while stopped in traffic. All electrics went so no hazards or steering. After 5-10 minutes it all powered back up and started as if nothing had happened. It then happened again on Tuesday night when I pulled into my drive. 11 minutes timed this time. Then restarted. I've had it with an auto-electrician today. No errors showing. Not even registering that it has been powered a loss of power. Battery, Fuses, Clutch Checked. Not sure about Ignition Switch (Not sure how this works with keyless entry/s…

Hi all, New to forum. Our 2015 CRV SR DTEC has had to go back to the dealers 4 times for warranty claims since we have owned it. We bought it in April 2016 with 4000 miles on the clock, it had been a Honda UK car before the dealers had it. First claim was Nov 2016 for Exhaust sensor, illuminated engine management light. Second claim was April 2017 for new passenger door mirror, glass wasn't dropping for kerb view when reverse selected. Third claim was November 2017 for PGM-FI warning light, Honda Assistance/AA diagnosed a dead glow plug. Fourth claim is ongoing but happened yesterday. Driving on local A-road, I w…

Hi all, I just bought a CR-V SE Navi 4WD 2.0 i-VTEC. Recently, in the snow, it was pretty rubbish to be honest, I was a bit disappointed as i bought the car thinking the 4 wheel drive would be perfect. Has anyone else had problems at all? Do all-weather tyres help at all? Any help or recommendations appreciated. Cheers. Gee

Hi Can someone advice me on how to best (and cheaply) update the sat nav on my CR-V? I have a 2012 CR-V EX I-VTEC and the sat nav is pretty rubbish, not taking me the most efficient and shortest routes. I dont want to take it to a Honda dealer as I they'll charge an arm and a leg. I heard that I can update with a DVD found behind the display panel but I can't see how it's done on my model. I've attached a photo of the sat nav. Thanks in advance!
