Are the cats and oxygen sensors on a civic or cr-v the same as an fr-v please, mine has been stolen and when you put fr-v in the search the prices go crazy stupid, mine is the 2006 model 2.0 sport 147hp k20, need help desperate now Tia, dave.

Hello guys, I got FR-V 1.8 and I can't find engine radiator for that car. Does someone know where I can buy it or maybe from which honda it will fit to 1.8 FR-V. Thank you.

Odd one this and I'm not sure how it passed it's recent MOT. All my indicators work fine with the indicator stalk, however, all the left side ones (front, rear and wing mirror) don't work when hazard switch is pressed. Any ideas?

Hi everyone. I’ve got an FRV 2.2 CTDI. The clutch pedal got stiff so I replaced the clutch, pressure & release bearing. The flywheel is not a dual mass I assume it’s been modified as the clutch kit was an LUK. Anyway the clutch pedal after bleeding over & over has a low biting point & hard to get into gear, so I replaced the slave cylinder which made no difference. I’m thinking the clutch master is defective as I can press the slave cylinder rod back in by hand. If I pump the pedal every time to change gears and in between a change they engage fine. Parts for these car’s are so dear and I can’t keep throwing money at it. Please advise if anyone has had this Is…

Just had a regas on the air con and discovered for following issue Air con was desperate for regas so had it done. Use to work fine last year despite not super cold due to needing the regas. however after regas it’s playing up. When sat on idle everything is engaged and the compressor is spinning but no cold air. But when you apply some revs after a while idling it’s goes super cold for a few seconds but then starts to warm back up. I have removed pollen filters which were a bit old, garage has told me pump is dead. Right so I bought this car three months ago its sat on and off. Changed the Oil, A+O + C Filter, Window Switch, Regulator. Then I had noise on power steering and froth. Changed gaskets and flushed with Honda fluids. Noises still on Aux acceleration. Changed Aux Idler pulley, and tensioner as noisey. (Well mechanic did) But I still have noise on the belt side on intial pull. Noticed movement in pulley itself. No clue what pulley it is or what to put into replace? Video below. Hi basically when I put me foot down there's a long delay until power kicks in. 2.2cdt1 frv. Could this be the egr valve maybe blocked.

After 15 years of owning the FR-V in London, my catalytic converter was stolen yesterday. Really pissed off. Having seen a post from here the uk.hondaownersclub.com. I've bought a replacement from https://catman.co.uk/ I'm not a mechanic, so hopefully it will have all the bits I need. Then its just another waiting game, as it might get stolen again. My remote control was becoming slower and slower to respond, and it got to the point where I had to press it multiple times for it to open/lock the car. I changed the battery, and at the time I remember having some trouble getting it to work. Initially it refused to work and then after pressing the buttons a few times it started to work. This was in early August. Then last week I went out; when I unlocked the car it worked perfectly but when I came to lock the car the remote control was completely dead. I have a 2008 FR-V and have noticed that in city driving it holds on to lower gears longer than it used to. On the motorway at light throttle, the revs don't drop like they used to. Transmission oil has been replaced twice during the life of the car, though I doubt the transmission oil filter was replaced. Any suggestions as where to look are much appreciated.

Hi so last week someone did a hit and run on the front of my frv. It’s bang on the centre and bumper is smashed and bonnet lip bent. I managed to get the bonnet open but now it won’t fully close so effectively it’s just open and in the latch. I can open the bonnet from the outside without using the bonnet release from the interior. This also means that the alarm doesn’t fully set (or so I think), as in when car is locked the indicators don’t flash and red dash light doesn’t come on. however randomly the alarm is going off sometimes through the night, or sometimes could go whole day and it won’t go off at all. Hello. First of all sorry if there is mistakes in my topic as im not from UK and english is not my main language but i really cant find anything. So i had many cars before and never had issue like this before. On my Honda FRV 2005 1.8 left headlight is not working. I bought a car thinking i just have to replace bulb but no. I changed my led bulb, i checked fuses and relays and everything is good and even replaced them and still nothing. Im not sure where i can look for ar problem now any ideas?

I have a problem with fuel intake, the fuel pump is kicking in so I'm leaning toward a blockage but can't find any info online about frv's! Can anyone point me in the direction of the fuel filter please? 👍

Hello! The offside drive shaft of our 2005, 143,000 mile 2.0 Sport Vtec FR-V has broken so could cost the best part of £1,000 to replace and repair. Does anyone know where to get a good second hand one from and a driver's seatbelt with fittings, too? I can only find a drive shaft from Honda which is almost £800, way more expensive than the £120 it would have cost for a new, nearside driveshaft from an alternative supplier. And even Honda doesn't appear to stock a seat belt... so no point replacing the shaft if the car then fails the MoT due in July re the seatbelt issue... We are only the second owners and have had the car …

Hi Folks, bought FRV 2.2 Diesel manual 56 plate just over a year ago now and its been running just fine and is very economical 48/50 MPG. THe blower fan has recently stopped working and I`m wondering if anyone has had experience with this and what the issue is. Thanx in anticipation Colin R

Hi there as above really trying to find the sizes of the oem front and rear speakers before I order some upgrades (as they are awful as standard) just wondered if anyone had swapped them over or removed them and had the dimensions? Didn’t fancy pulling the car apart unless I absolutely had to! thanks in advance!

I've been having charging/battery problems over past few weeks, resulting in a no start after a short drive..... normally solved by a 10 min drive after a quick push or jump start. It's now apparent that the alternator doesnt work, hence requires changing. Looking at the alternator and its location makes me think this is a major job as it's in a very tight area to get to. Any help or pointers would be marvellous

Front window wipers have stopped working on 2010 FRV

I have a 2006 1.7 FRV. The hand brake lever is fully out and will only return a couple of inches, when released. I have unbolted the assembly from under the dash, but there does not seem any access into the unit. When releasing the handle the cable to the adjuster under the seat does not move. Any ideas would be much appreciated

Hi all, can back to my 06 frv yesterday in a car park and found the drivers side mirror had been fully pushed back. Normally when this happens can usually just push it back and after a few attempts the power folding sorts itself out and gets in sync. However this time the whole mirror is just flimsy and can be folded in by hand and easily. When turning the car on can hear the motor in the mirror whirring away constantly and doesn’t stop and power folding does not engage. is this fixable or should I look for a replacement mirror? Does anyone know how to take the mirror unit apart and what I should be looking for?

Please can anyone help me with my 2007 frv that has noisy front suspension when driving along over slightly uneven ground. From both sides directly under where your feet are. Possibly anti roll bar main mounts. No free play in any ball joints etc. Unable to check for movement when on the ground as very little space. Ideally need a 4 poster ramp so it stays at road going height but garages won't do it for less than a hours labour time. Has anyone had the same issues with noise. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks
