Hello I'm experiencing a problem in locating a replacement radiator for my frv 06 model, on an engine code D17A2. There doesn't seem to be any available. As you can imagine money is tight. Any solutions to my problems.

Hi there. I need to replace the 2nd clutch pressure switch in my F-RV (2009), but can't find any reference to this part anywhere on the web. I can find clutch pressure switches for just about every other Honda model, but not the F-RV. Does anyone know where I can get the part number - or is the same component used in say the C-RV?

  7. Hello Unfortunately I've recently had my catalytic converter stolen from a 2006, 2.0L petrol FR-V. They also made a mess of the floor when they jacked it up 😠. Anyway looking to try to repair it and I'm wondering if the cheapest catalytic converter (seems to be made by EuroFlow) is up to the job? And there seems to be several brands of sensors - FuelParts, Cambiare, Blue Print. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these? Does the Euroflow exhaust work well with the FuelParts sensors? Is it likely to trigger the engine MIL or MOT failure? Thanks in advance for any experience that you can share.

Hi, my rear parking sensors are not working. There is no sound when I switch into reverse and move if there is an obstacle behind. I've tried switching the sensors for known working ones. Is there an associated fuse that is blown? Will it likely be the control unit and how can I test this? Thanks

  14. Hello I have a 2006 FR-V, 2.0l petrol. I have had to disconnect the battery to prevent it from being drained during the weeks that we are not using the car whilst waiting for an insurance claim and subsequent repair job to source replacement parts, etc. Is there anything I will likely need to do after reconnecting it, besides from resetting the time on the clock? I'm thinking in terms of security systems, radio codes, remote control pairing for the alarm/immobiliser etc? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer on this

Hi folks I'm new to Honda but just got an FRV which I'm now loving, but I've got the 2 original keys which unlock and start the car manually, but neither of which unlock the car remotely ( which Is annoying for me cause I've got 4 kids so always got my hands full ) I just replaced both key batteries and one of the keys emits the little led light when pressed and one doesn't l, so I've been using the one with the working led for the investigation purposes. I've tried to do the key programming mode that I seen a member post about on here but that didn't work. I'm at the point where I don't know where else I should be looking, but I've booked fo…

Hi. How easy is it to replace the exhaust on an Frv. Most of it is stainless steel but the part the mechanic welded is not. I think it is just the one downpipe that needs replaced and am wondering how hard it is to do and where would I get the relevant part. Apparently the mechanic said there are only OEM parts available and it will cost about £400. Sorry I'm a bit vague but that's all I have at the moment

  17. Will anybody know how to reset clock, I can follow sat nav manual for supposed procedure, but does not change time in radio. Any ideas will be much appreciated,, regards, Maurice,

  19. Recently got a fault code reader and I suspect it suggests there's an air leak in one of the intake/charge pressure pipes. It's a generic reader so provides generic code. Was wondering if this site has any resources/Wikis for things like Fault Codes, Fuse boxes, wiring diagrams etc? FYI Fault codes I have (if anybody can decipher): P2017 P1042 P1401 U0122

My good lady parked our FRV, went shopping came back and it just wont start. so far I have tried The inertia cut out switch - seems ok Changed the fuel rail pressure regulator valve Changed the fuel rail pressure sensor valve So the symptoms are that when monitoring live data the Fuel Rail Pressure only goes up to 65 to 90 PSI with the old pressure sensor valve but the new valve shows nothing Oddly the old pressure sensor shows 30PSI even when connected in to an empty fuel rail Today I changed the high pressure fuel pump but still no change I am obviously missing something that's staring me in the face. Does any one have any good…

Hi everyone. I’ve got an FRV 2.2 CTDI. The clutch pedal got stiff so I replaced the clutch, pressure & release bearing. The flywheel is not a dual mass I assume it’s been modified as the clutch kit was an LUK. Anyway the clutch pedal after bleeding over & over has a low biting point & hard to get into gear, so I replaced the slave cylinder which made no difference. I’m thinking the clutch master is defective as I can press the slave cylinder rod back in by hand. If I pump the pedal every time to change gears and in between a change they engage fine. Parts for these car’s are so dear and I can’t keep throwing money at it. Please advise if anyone has had this Is…

Just had a regas on the air con and discovered for following issue Air con was desperate for regas so had it done. Use to work fine last year despite not super cold due to needing the regas. however after regas it’s playing up. When sat on idle everything is engaged and the compressor is spinning but no cold air. But when you apply some revs after a while idling it’s goes super cold for a few seconds but then starts to warm back up. I have removed pollen filters which were a bit old, garage has told me pump is dead. But I’m struggling with this has the pump is spinning at idle but not cooling, and when revs are applied it wakes up and cools for a f…

  24. Right so I bought this car three months ago its sat on and off. Changed the Oil, A+O + C Filter, Window Switch, Regulator. Then I had noise on power steering and froth. Changed gaskets and flushed with Honda fluids. Noises still on Aux acceleration. Changed Aux Idler pulley, and tensioner as noisey. (Well mechanic did) But I still have noise on the belt side on intial pull. Noticed movement in pulley itself. No clue what pulley it is or what to put into replace? Video below. Thought I'd try here as Facebook groups are dead when it comes to FR-V's. https://youtu.be/Os8L0rOVxrU Some slight audible clacking too every…
