  1. Hi Les.....welcome to the Club I had this on my CR-V and it was the rear toe that was out. The arms are adjustable by slackening off the locknuts and dialing in the correct setting. If you take it to Protyre as they have Hunter alignment equipment but the correction has to be made from the rear before the front settings. Let us know how you get on with it
  2. Hi.....welcome to the Club! Lexus are definitely there with Honda in reliability and build quality, just cheaper to run the Honda as you have already stated. Good to have you onboard
  3. Hi Irfan.....welcome to the Club Not sure about the handbrake casing but maybe get the one from eBay, use the parts you want and sell the rest back on. It does help to engage the clutch to start the car and also safer if left in gear
  4. Make sure there is not a screw holding it in place
  5. I have heard of this issue before but without searching this site for the solution I cannot remember what the problem with the buzzer. Try the search function first to see what comes up
  6. Trevor replied to Majid's topic in CR-V 2007 to 2011
More than likely the fuel filter needs changing Chances are it hasn't been done for a while as they are quite hard to access
  7. Hi Alex....welcome to the Club You can get adapters to step down the diameters https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2499334.m570.l1313&_nkw=exhaust+reducer+adapter&_sacat=131090 That would solve any difference in diameters on the replacement part
  8. I would source the correct fluid from your local Honda dealership and also ask them for any gaskets, filter and plug as well
  9. Hi Eric and Janette.....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard!
  10. I would be tempted to block it off and run it until you can get a replacement (secondhand) sensor.
  11. Air Conditioning pulleys are prone to failure and rattle furiously until they expire. Check for visual movement with engine running and also check if the aux belt is fluctuating when running or totally smooth rotation.
  12. Hi Andy, hope you are staying well? I would start with changing the fuel filter and see whether that cures the issue. Had a similar issue with my 2.2 CR-V and the filter change cured it Fiddly to change but not impossible if you have slightly flexible joints
  13. Hookies Possibly a knock within the engine being read by the sensor or if there is any interference going to the sensor via the lead?
  14. I guess they would have yanked the O2 sensor connection to release it rather than disconnecting it so would be worth looking at the connection and wiring going to the vehicle loom
  15. You would not really need to adjust valves on modern Honda engines. Unless you have issues with noisy valve-train then it shouldn't need touching
  16. A remap of the engine ECU could cure this. Found when I remapped my CR-V for economical and driveability reasons that the gears had 'longer legs' and contributed to better gear usage
  17. Check for broken earth cables connecting from the battery negative terminal to the gearbox/engine and other associated wiring as excess engine movement could be affecting the connection?
  18. Definitely wheel imbalance....take it to a tyre bay who can rebalance the wheels
  19. Usually located in the kick panel area on the front bulkhead
  20. Hi....welcome to the Club! That sounds like a perfectly reasonable price for what would be a great little runabout/work horse. Let us know how you get on with acquiring it
  21. I would say that a carbon clean from a company like TerraClean would sort these issues. Sounds like carbon build up in the intake side of the engine
  22. I would stand my ground on this one as it is clearly a known fault and if they cured one side then they can do the other as its the same issue. Let us know how you get on with it
  23. Hi Lee....welcome to the Club The price for the second service is usually more because of the level of work and parts is greater. Compared to a second service on my Harley, that price you quoted is cheap 😞
  24. Hi Bosco....welcome to the Club Superb couple of Honda's you have there and huge amounts done to them. Good to have you onboard!
