Hi, ive been offered at FR-v 2006 sport, any tips or information would be fantastic before i accept and purchase the car

I am in need to replace FR-V 2009 1.8l petrol automatic right hand (driver side) drive shaft and I can't find the replacement part as it shows everywhere out of stock. Part number is 44305-SJD-E20 and I wonder if there is any alternative option for that part, maybe some other honda models share the same part but under different part numbers? I found Honda OEM part but I can't afford to spend over £500 just for part alone and also wait till mid october, so any input from you guys will be appreciated. Thank you in advance! JZ

Hi folks I'm new to Honda but just got an FRV which I'm now loving, but I've got the 2 original keys which unlock and start the car manually, but neither of which unlock the car remotely ( which Is annoying for me cause I've got 4 kids so always got my hands full ) I just replaced both key batteries and one of the keys emits the little led light when pressed and one doesn't l, so I've been using the one with the working led for the investigation purposes. Hi there. I need to replace the 2nd clutch pressure switch in my F-RV (2009), but can't find any reference to this part anywhere on the web. I can find clutch pressure switches for just about every other Honda model, but not the F-RV. Does anyone know where I can get the part number - or is the same component used in say the C-RV?

Hi Folks, great forum on here, and I'm hoping you guys can help me out, my question is, can I fit (the Honda factory fit) roof rails to an FRV that's doesn't have them? i.e. I'm looking at buying an FRV currently choosing between two models; a 2006 (low milage) or a 2009 (high milage). Im leaning towards the low milage 2006 model but I will need roof rails and the 2006 doesn't have them, so are roof rails somthing I can fit after the fact? Thanks in advance!

Hello I have an 2006 FR-V, 2L petrol which has recently had a replacement catalytic converter and lambda sensors fitted after the originals were stolen. A couple of months after they were fitted, the yellow engine malfunction light has been coming on. I've taken it to my local mechanic who found the P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold fault code (alongside P2185 - although P0420 was listed first and I've had P2185 sporadically before). Hi. My Honda is making a noise around the fan belt drives. It seems a lot louder than usual. The only things that have happened are that I recharged the air con, which now is lovely and cold. But then the battery drained a few hours later. Well tbh it kinda started turning off during driving when I slowed down. Later I had to attempt a battery to battery jump start, but the car battery jumped back to life the second I connected the leads. The next day the battery was dead again. How to remove the under dash front cup holder.

As Per the title really, car was working fine until Saturday morning..occasionally over the last year or so on a handful of occasions had the passenger door failed to open. But a double press on the fob and we were all ok again. Friday it was fine, on Saturday morning however things did not go to plan. Went to open the car, and nothing on the passenger door unlocked and relocked the car with the fob multiple times, but still no good. I've managed to remove the interior door card, and get to the actuator but of course the whole thing is one effing sealed unit isn't it, and without being able to open the door I can't remove the bolts inside the door to remo…

Just had a regas on the air con and discovered for following issue Air con was desperate for regas so had it done. Use to work fine last year despite not super cold due to needing the regas. however after regas it’s playing up. When sat on idle everything is engaged and the compressor is spinning but no cold air. But when you apply some revs after a while idling it’s goes super cold for a few seconds but then starts to warm back up. I have removed pollen filters which were a bit old, garage has told me pump is dead. But I’m struggling with this has the pump is spinning at idle but not cooling, and when revs are applied it wakes up and cools for a f…

Hi All I have a 1.8 petrol honda FR-V 2008 with an engine light on. Code P0135 Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor (sensor1) heater circuit malfunction. I am struggling to find this part. I have taken it to my local garage and he ordered the part but the connector was wrong ( female socket required, see pics) Hes struggling to find it. does any know the part number and where i can buy the part ? let me know if you need any more info. i have attached some pics, hopefully there not too big/small. The night before taking the FR-V for the MOT, I decided to check everything over as I haven't had much opportunity lately, and I found that a sidelight was out in the front O/S headlight. I was going to tweak the rear parking brake adjustment as I had new brake pads put in recently and they've bedded in - that's not going to happen now as I haven't got time, so hopefully it's all OK for the MOT - I'll find out in about 11 hours. Hi all, I have a 2005 1.7 FRV. A while back I had a sudden window issue, the drivers window switch works perfectly but all other windows won’t work from either the master unit or the door switches. I’m feeling the power window lock button has failed in the unit, all fuses fine, I did have to use this regularly as I had young twins playing with the windows, however I want to get the windows going again. I’m happy to fit a new unit before spending the amount I want to ask if anyone has had this issue and what the resolution was, or anyone who has the knowledge to point me right

Hi everyone, had a FR-V for a week now, 2.2 diesel, 103 k miles, plenty of history. Anyway, OSF front brake seems to be binding and getting slightly hotter than the other side, it's not as bad since I've cleaned everything, greased the slide pins, rotated the piston and pushed it back and put a bit of brake fluid under the dust seal. I might have to puta caliper on if it doesn't settle down. Looking at the history it has niffin brakes on the back and sumitomo on the front, is this normal? Also i can't find a sumitomo replacement caliper. Coxs honda lancaster say they aren't available anymore. I take it i need to fit a sumitomo caliper as a niffin wouldn't fit? …

My hand brake when disengaged the light stays on fiddle with handle goes it goes off hit a bump on it’s comes on with warning tone brake fluid ok pads shoes all new is there a sensor on the handbrake mechanism and how do I change it and it’s location any help would be appreciated

Hi there everyone, a few years ago I replace one of the o-rings on the power steering pump as the fluid was bubbling and getting a whining sound when driving. This resolved the issue then but this has now come back and I can't find the part number anywhere. Does anyone have this please? It was an orange o-ring. Thanks

Hi, our lovely Honda FRV 2.2 diesel is having difficulty getting in first and second gear. Sometimes you have to dip the clutch 2 or 3 times to select the correct gear. Any thoughts or opinions welcomed?

Hi my FRV won't start once it's done a run. It starts 1st thing. Then I drive to a destination and park. When I go to leave, it won't start again. Ive had loads of checks to the engine but nothing can be found. I've had all new filters fitted, new oil change. I've also spent out on new battery, starter motor, 4 new injectors even. Still same problem. Its cost me a lot of money, which I've spent cos I like the car. But I still can't find the problem to get it fixed. Any ideas please?

Hi, my rear parking sensors are not working. There is no sound when I switch into reverse and move if there is an obstacle behind. I've tried switching the sensors for known working ones. Is there an associated fuse that is blown? Will it likely be the control unit and how can I test this? Thanks

Are the cats and oxygen sensors on a civic or cr-v the same as an fr-v please, mine has been stolen and when you put fr-v in the search the prices go crazy stupid, mine is the 2006 model 2.0 sport 147hp k20, need help desperate now Tia, dave.
