CR-V 2007 to 2011

Hi, folks. Adding to the To Do List on my 2.2 with 147k on it. I've a terrible worksheet to get thru on this. Currently looking at removing the EGR valve. I've managed to get a small peek and it's absolutely caked. Just amatter of time before a code appears. Slight hesitation from stationary or low speed. It goes like a rocket, but seems EGR is the problem. Any advice on removal please? Thanks.

Hi Can someone advice me on how to best (and cheaply) update the sat nav on my CR-V? I have a 2012 CR-V EX I-VTEC and the sat nav is pretty rubbish, not taking me the most efficient and shortest routes. I dont want to take it to a Honda dealer as I they'll charge an arm and a leg. I heard that I can update with a DVD found behind the display panel but I can't see how it's done on my model. I've attached a photo of the sat nav. Thanks in advance!

Hi I previously had a 2.2 I-DTEC Ex prior to buying my current car (Volvo XC60 D5) and am potentially looking at coming back to Honda in the guise of an 18 plate 1.6 I-DTEC EX. I have a couple of general questions if you folks would be kind enough to help: 1 - I haven't yet driven a 1.6 so how do they compare performance wise to the 2.2? 2 - Any particular issues that I need to look for in the car? 3 - It has the Garmin Sat Nav - are the maps user upgradeable or dealer only? 4 - Can I install Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Any other pointers would be most welcome. Thank you.

I recently bought a 2016 CR-V and after about a month of owning the vehicle the Check Engine Light illuminated on the dash. I took it to a local garage who read the code and told me the problem was the Bank 1 Sensor 1 had low voltage. They said they took it and and gave it a quick clean and cleared the code which seemed to fix the problem for about a week or so. After the light came back on a week later I assumed I'd need to replace the sensor. I've had a look at the code on the sensor in the car and it reads 36531-RZ0-G02 - 281004566. Everywhere i look online is telling me this model number is incompatible with my vehicle and the correct part is actually 36531-RZ0-G01 …

Evening All. Just a qq any one had issues with their High Pressure Fuel Pump on the 2.2 diesel engine, I have had two instances where the engine management light has come on in the last two weeks and had fault code P0087 which means low fuel pressure. Two years ago I was getting the same issue but the garage put new firmware on and it seemed to fix it, but i think that may have just been a coincidence as the issue is back. Sometimes it will stop the car other times it just goes in to limp mode. You can start the car no problem after the event, the fault stays for 4 more engine on and off, then disappears. Hi. I have a 2007 CRV and the radio reception is terrible. Does the car have a radio signal amplifier? Is there anyway of boosting the signal or could my aerial be damaged in anyway? Can anybody suggest how to improve signal or how to get to the wiring in the roof to check?

Hi I have a 2007 CRV I have looked on the internet and the manual but can't seem to fine the location of the crankshaft sensor. I ha a suspicion it might be behind the alternator which is mounted on a flange so behind that ?? Any help would be appreciated

Hi all, Looking for a bit of help. Has anyone fitted running boards ? I have a second hand set of genuine Honda parts and I have downloaded the fitting instructions which seems fairly straightforward. What I don’t have are the templates required to enable me to cut out access holes for the fitting brackets in the plastic underside panels. Can anyone help with this please, much appreciated Rob

Hi all, I just bought a CR-V SE Navi 4WD 2.0 i-VTEC. Recently, in the snow, it was pretty rubbish to be honest, I was a bit disappointed as i bought the car thinking the 4 wheel drive would be perfect. Has anyone else had problems at all? Hi Ive changed all my CRV bulbs to LED, apart from front fogs and front indicators. Now , Im no mechanic but how are you meant to get to the passenger side front indicator bulb. I can see it but there is no way I can get to it but im itching to change these bulbs now. Also I am assuming the bumper may have to come off for front fogs? Thanks

Hi all, New to forum. Our 2015 CRV SR DTEC has had to go back to the dealers 4 times for warranty claims since we have owned it. We bought it in April 2016 with 4000 miles on the clock, it had been a Honda UK car before the dealers had it. First claim was Nov 2016 for Exhaust sensor, illuminated engine management light. Hi, for the last few weeks every time I break there is a squeeling/crunching noise when I brake. The brakes were done 7 months ago. I noticed today that I've been driving for the last few weeks with the a/c on so I turned it off and now the brakes are making very little noise. Is there any way that the a/c was causing it? Hello, I was stuck outside of the UK since June 2020 and could not come back until now May 2021. The car was left in a garage all this time and was not driven/started for months. I tried jump-starting it using a NOCO BOOST and using another car but nothing happens. There is not even a sound, the lights don't come on. Would anybody have any ideas? Is this most likely just a zeroed out battery? Or am I doing something wrong? I am using the big bolt pin on the chassis as the ground terminal. I am really surprised that nothing happens. Hi all, I’m in desperate need of help. I can’t disable the Immo on my 2007 CRV. I’ve changed the battery in the fob and on the car, I’ve checked all the fuses, tried to reprogramme the keys, all keys lost, bought a second hand replacement key fob reader on the key cylinder tried to reprogramme it, cried, kicked it, and still nothing. The maxicom tells me that the system is “not normal”, without any hint on what else is going on. Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on here, hoping someone can help. I have a 2008 CRV 2.2 diesel, starts first time when cold and runs perfectly even down the motorway. Problem is, once you turn it off it will not start again for 2 or so hours when its cooled down, it just turns over and displays engine light and VSA & TSA. Once cold back to normal again!! Main dealer has said the ECU is not holding its memory and needs a new ECU at £1700. Had a second garage take a look and they have said ECU memory is all there it's just not communicating when warm. Good evening everyone! I come to this forum unfortunately with a small problem. My brother changed the battery in my Honda CRV, then my radio got stuck. I should mention that I am on holiday in Bulgaria. I went here to the dealership and they charged me around 45 pounds, converted to BGN. Of course I didn't pay the amount, and I started searching on the net where I could get the code.
